James Carey

Drumnaveigh, New Inn, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

James passed away peacefully at Virginia Health Care Centre on Thursday 14th in the loving care of his family and nursing staff. Predeceased by his wife Agnes and son Jamesie. Deeply regretted by his loving family Tony, Buddy, Cally, Pat, Mary and Bernie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Reposing at Mathews' Funeral Home, Virginia, on Tuesday 19th from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning in Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia, at 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations to Virginia Cancer Care if desired, please. House private at all times, please.

Anthony Ellingham

8 Annagh Park Kilconny Belturbet

14th April 2022. Aged 37 years.

Anthony's death deeply regretted by his loving Partner Debbie Fitzpatrick, and their sons' Kohen & Kyran. His Mother Veronica his Father Adrian and sister Nicola, Also his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Sadly missed by Debbie's family Colin & Jenny Fitzpatrick, Paul & Jenny Quaile, Brothers Dillon,Tyler,Quentin,Byron,Conner & Cayden , Sisters Shannon and Brianna, Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Neighbours

Anthony's remains will be reposing at his home from 2.00pm - 6.00pm on Saturday 16th april 2022. House private at all other times.

Funeral will take place on Sunday 17th April 2022 at 1.00pm in St Mary's Church Staghall Belturbet Co.Cavan. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Drumina, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurr­ed unexpectedly of Leah Farrelly at her home in Drumina, Virginia on Friday 15 April.

Much loved daughter of Des and Nuala and much loved sister of Grace.

Leah's family respectfully ask for their home to be private at this time.

Margaret Philomena (Phil) Finlay (nee Mohan)

Fairway Lawns, Bettystown, late of Railway Street, Navan and formerly of Doohamlet, Co. Monaghan

Died peacefully on Thursday 14th April 2022 (in her 95th year) in the loving care of the exceptional staff of St. Elizabeth's Nursing Home, Athboy. Pre-deceased by her husband Leo; Phil will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Gerry and Brian, daughters in law Anne and Hilary, grandchildren Emer, David, Sorcha, Aoife, James and Ciara, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Fitzsimons Funeral Home, Navan this Sunday afternoon from 4-6pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10 o'clock to arrive in Sacred Heart Church, Laytown for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Reilig Mhuire, Piltown.

Thomas Healy

Castleblayney, County Monaghan and Valentia Island, County Kerry

Suddenly, on April 13th 2022. Recently predeceased by his wife Theresa Healy. Sadly missed by his children Stephen, Sonya and Tommy, son in law Frank, daughter in law Hannah, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Knightstown, Valentia Island, on Monday April 18th at 11am, followed by burial in Cill Mhór Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/valentia. Strictly no hand shaking, please.

Michael Mc Geough

Lackagh, Annyalla, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan

Friday April 15th, peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Bridget, sisters Mary and Rosaleen, brother James.

Michael, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, wife Dympna, sons Gerry and Francie, daughters in-law Mairead and Lorraine, his adored grandchildren Laura, Grainne, Fergal and Aoife, his cherished great-grandchildren Chloe, Abi, Freddie, Jaxson and Maya, sister Elizabeth, brothers Paddy, Arthur and Bernard, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Michael will repose at his residence in Lackagh, Annyalla (A75 EK64) tomorrow Saturday from 3pm until 6pm and again on Sunday from 3pm until 6pm. House strictly private at all other times please. Removal on Monday afternoon from his residence at 1:30pm to arrive at St. Michael’s Church Annyalla for funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Castleblayney Cancer society c/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.

Please adhere to the current Government and HSE Covid guide lines while attending Michael’s wake and funeral.
