Showers and chance of thunder

A cloudy start this morning with rain over much of the province, with some eastern parts staying dry till later in the morning. During the afternoon, a clearance to sunny spells and thundery showers will move in from the west along with a chance of hail.

Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds which will veer westerly through the afternoon and evening, freshening near western coasts.

TONIGHT

Tonight, scattered showers will gradually clear northeastwards, becoming mostly dry with clear spells and just some lingering showers near coasts.

Cold, with lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds, fresher near western coasts.

TOMORROW

Monday will start largely dry with sunny spells but blustery showers will feed in from the west with a chance of hail.

Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in fresh and gusty west to southwest winds, easing westerly later.
