Housing minister visiting Cavan today

Dublin Fingal TD visited the Gowlan Group Water Scheme and also the Cavan Burren Geo Park in the west of the county in the early part of the day.

The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien, is touring Co Cavan today.

The minister has already this morning and will continue throughout the day to visit a number of sites across the county (Friday, May 20).

The Dublin Fingal TD visited the Gowlan Group Water Scheme and also the Cavan Burren Geo Park in the west of the county in the early part of the day.

He is visiting Belturbet Marina and following that the Butlersbridge Housing Scheme shortly before lunch.

The minister will then be on hand to oversee the handing over of keys to 12 units at Drumalee Manor, Cavan Town Housing Scheme.

After he will visit works on vacant houses at John Paul Avenue, Tullagmongan, and then work being carried out on the Ballinagh Housing Scheme.

Rounding off his trip to the Breffni county the minister will visit the Ballyjamesduff Fire Station, Derrylurgan, andVirginia Library and Civic Centre project.
