Cavan marks 'Your Council Day'

The local County Council has been highlighting its work.

Cavan County Council has been showcasing its work as part of #yourcouncilday.

The annual initiative sees local authorities across the country highlight investment, initiatives and other work done over the previous 12 months.

Among the highlights from Cavan was investment in new electric vehicles for the Council fleet.

Also noted was the Council's work with the Environmental Protection Agency to monitor air quality in Cavan town, as well as work to promote and improve biodiversity across the county.
