The former Parochial House in Drumkilly.

Prime properties at next Smith Property auction

A former parochial house and a medical centre are among six prime local properties to go under the hammer at the latest Smith Property auction.

The former priest's house in Drumkilly, Kilnaleck, along with 2.4 acres of land, is one of the lots. With an advised minimum value (AMV) of €125,000, a number of outbuildings are included.

Described as being on a “prominent site with good countryside views”, it’s next to the school, church and community centre.

The three-bed, one-bath house, which was built in the 1880s, is in need of some updating.

The former medical practice in Kilnaleck is also going to auction, with an AMV of €250,000.

Located on Barrack Road, it’s described as an “investment opportunity” with block deconstruction and a low maintenance exterior.

Residential properties

A mid-terrace home in Ballyjamesduff has an AMV of €135,000. The three bed home has an enclosed garden to the rear and overlooks the communal green area in the estate.

Located in Inny Court, it’s within walking distance to local amenities.

Three homes, in need of refurbishment, are also up for sale.

For €200,000, a four bed bungalow in Drumcrow, Stradone could be yours, along with 6.86 acres of land. Also included is a selection of farm buildings, including stables and sand arenas.

A derelict bungalow in Corlismore outside Ballinagh and five acres of adjoining land is also listed. The house is in need of full refurbishment. It has an asking price of €100,000.

Located on the main N3, a two-bed cottage in Lavey village is also going to auction. Close to local amenities and Lavey lake, it’s also in need of full refurbishment.

All properties will go to auction at the Smith Property online event on Thursday (July 14), unless earlier sold.
