The death has occurred of David Chase, The Drumlins, Virginia, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on August 7. Predeceased by his sisters Angela and Maura and his nephew Scott Mc Carthy. Much loved husband of Sheila (nee Breen) and loving father of John. Deeply regretted by his wife and son, his sister Margaret (Mc Evoy, Dunboyne), brother in law Denis Breen, sisters in law Mary (Lenihan) and Anna (Dunworth), nieces, neph­ews, relatives, good neighbours and friends.

Kildare, formerly of Cavan and founder of Patrick J Farrell and Company Solicitors) – Aug 8, 2022, (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness, at St. James Hospital, Patrick J, loving husband of the late Loreto (Lorrie), much loved father of Yvonne (Greenan), Brian, Niall, Philip and Rosemary (Meaney) and dear brother of Eileen (Farrelly) and the late Peggy (McGlone) and Desmond; Remembered fondly by his loving, sons, daughters, sister, daughters-in-law Deirdre and Mary, sons-in-law Páraic and Padraig, Philip’s partner Carmel, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, eighteen much loved grandchildren, great-grandchild Maeve, nephews, nieces, relatives and many good friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas, on Tuesday from 4pm with removal to The Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, arriving at 6.30pm. Suddenly & peacefully in the presence and love of his family. Predeceased by his siblings Kevin Keaney, Mary (McAloon), Josie (Conlon), Nancy (Shanley), Eddie, Margaret and Peggy. Vincie will be sadly missed by his loving family- wife May, daughter Kathleen, sons John Gerard and Francis, son in law Vincent, his brothers Tommy, Pat, Brendan and Frank, his many nieces and nephews, his friends and neighbours and all those he touched with his gentle presence.

Vincie's funeral mass will take place on Tuesday in St Mary's Church, Glenfarne at 11.00 am followed by interment in adjoining cemetery

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Mackey (nee Mc Manus), Keelagh, Ballyjamesd­uff, Co. Cavan, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on the 8 August 2022.

Predeceased by her parents Willie and Moira and most recently by her beloved husband Breen.

Deeply regretted and sorely missed by her sons Aodhagán and Cian and her daughters Gráinne and Bróna, her cherished and adored granddaughter and grandson Caoimhe and CJ, her son in law Patri­ck, daughter in law Amanda, sisters Mary (Caffrey, Mountnugent) and Emer (Mc Manus, Dublin), her brother Paddy (Crosserlough), brother in law Michael and sisters in law Mary Mc Manus and Mary Mackey, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Removal to St. Patricks Church Lurgan (via Coppenagh Cross) on Wednesday arriving for 1 o'clock Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery Ballyjamesduff.

Much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. The death has occurred of Jim Balfe, Mullantimore, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan, H18 CP27 and formerly Blessington, Co. Wicklow. Retired member of An Garda Siochana, Tuesday, 2nd August, suddenly, at the Mater Private.

Predeceased by his father Walter, mother Kathy, sisters Margie, Bridie and Angela. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anne, children Deirdre, Kevin, Anne-Marie, Caitriona, Francis, Lorraine & David, daughters-in-law Catherine & Cathy, sons-in-law Paul, Shaun & Tony, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Peter (Pete) Courtney on Saturday 6th August 2022, at Beaumont Hospital following an accident.

Predeceased by his brother John. Loving husband of Eva, father of David, Martin, Ciaran and Louise. The death has occurred of Phil Sherry (née Duffy), Tullinacrunnet, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan A75VP11 and formerly Harbour Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Monday 8th August 2022, peacefully at home, after a short illness surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her soulmate Brian and brothers Michael, Paddy and John.

Inspirational mother to Moya, Annmarie, Fionnuala, Brian, Padraig and Helen. Phil will be greatly missed by her son in laws, Charles, Raymond, Michael and daughter in law Marese, her 9 adoring grandchildren Ciara (and her husband Tim), Aidan, Aoife, Muireann, Conal, Bríon, Ríona, Annie, Rosie and great-grandson Oscar, brother Tom (Sutton), extended family and wide circle of friends.

Phil will repose at home amongst her family and friends today, Monday, from 2pm until 8pm and again tomorrow, Tuesday, from 2pm until 8pm. House private outside of reposing times, please.

Phil’s funeral cortege will leave from the family home in Tullinacrunnet (A75 VP11) on Wednesday morning at 10:30am proceeding on foot, arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
