Bawn, Killeshandra, County Cavan

18th August 2022, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents John Patrick and Mary Ellen, sisters Kathleen and Roseann. Very deeply regretted by his wife Eileen, sons J.J., Barry, Noel and Pauric, sisters Mary, Patricia, Josephine, uncle Willy, aunt Annabel, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday 19th August from 5pm - 9pm until Removal on Saturday at 11.30am to St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

House private on Saturday please.

Seamus Keogan

Drumbucklis, Carrigan, Ballinagh, Cavan, H12 H273

Died the 18/08/2022 peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Katherine, sisters Nancy, Maureen, Eileen and Sheila.

Sadly missed by his beloved wife Ita, children Catherine (Tommy), Fiona (Rory),Gabriel (Denise), Emer (Gavan), Gráinne (Deva),Neil (Edel) and Seamus (Lucia), his adored grandchildren Rory, Dylan, Lucy, Martha, Fergal, Oliver, Emma, Éanna, Ciara, Asha, Hugh, Kate, Sita, Fiona, Grace, Tara, James, John and Anna, his sister Kathleen McCahill, nieces, nephews, relatives, and a wide circle of friends and neighbour

Reposing at his home (H12H273) on Friday 19th from 4pm to 8pm for family and close friends. House private at all other times Please.

Reposing at Lakeland’s Funeral Home Cavan on Saturday the 20th from 5.30pm to 7.30pm . In the interest of keeping everybody safe from covid 19 this will be walk through only please.

Funeral Mass on Sunday 21st at St Mary’s Church Bruskey at 11am followed by Christian burial in Mullaghboy cemetery .

Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation c/o Smith’s Funeral Directors or any family member.

Sean McMahon

Blackbull, Crosskeys and of Queens, NY.

Emigrated to NY in 1984. Member of the Carpenter's Union for the City of NY. Member of the Cavan P&B Association where he carried the banner up 5th Ave at the St. Parick's Day Parade for 31 years. Friday 5th of August 2022 on the way to his son's wedding in the Philippines.

Predeceased by his parents Dolly and Ned sister Sadie and brother Nobby. Sadly missed by his loving wife, Kathleen McMahon (nee Fergus), son Matthew McMahon, daughter Alanna McMahon, son in law Stephen McGonnell, daughter in law Mechelene, granddaughter Sadie McGonnell, (Unborn granddaughter on the way), his sisters Mary Cullivan, Kathleen Conaty, Evelyn Jermyn, Marcella O'Brien, Siobhan Niland, brother Malachy, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Sean will repose in Blackbull Saturday the 20th of August from 5.00pm until 9.00pm, with removal on Sunday at 12.30pm to St Matthew's Church, Crosskeys to arrive for Requiem Mass at 1.00pm, Interment afterwards in adjoining Cemeter

The family would like to thank all medical personnel on PAL Flight 127 and medical staff in Manila, Philippines Airport who tended to our dear husband and father.

Maureen Collins (nee Mc Dermott)

Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home and formerly of 10 Moys, Clontibret, Co. Monaghan

Thursday, August 18th at Cavan General Hospital after a short illness. Predeceased by her Husband Harry and her brothers Patsy and Phil.

Maureen, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her brother Seamus Mc Dermott and sister Chrissie Mc Cluskey, sisters in law Kathleen Mc Dermott, May Mc Dermott and Sarah Mc Dermott, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.

Maureen will repose at her home,10 Moys, Clontibret, tomorrow, Friday, from 3pm until 8 pm. Removal from the residence on Saturday morning at 10:30 am proceeding on foot to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Clontibret for funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family on Saturday morning only please.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the multiple sclerosis society c/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.

Alice Celine O Neill nee Larmer

Wednesday 17th August, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Pre deceased by her daughters Siobhan and Breege, sisters Susan and Rose, brother Gerald. Deeply regretted by her loving husband John, daughters Maria, Teresa, Fiona and Audrey, sons Sean and Anthony, sister Anna, daughters in law, brothers in law, grandchildren, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews ,nieces,relatives and a large circle of friends.

Remains reposing at her residence until removal on Friday afternoon to St Mary's Church, Latton, arriving for 2 o clock Funeral Mass, burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please donations, if so desired, to the Monaghan branch of Alzheimers Association and Radio Maria Ireland, to any family member or Gerry Coyle funeral director.
