Crover to host ‘A Night With The Greats’

Get your dancing shoes at the ready because Mountnugent's Crover House Hotel is set to host 'A Night With The Greats' on Monday, September 12.

Fantastic names in Irish music across all genres will be celebrated on stage on the night. Jimmy Buckley is sure to get the crowd in full swing with his country jams such as 'Pencil Full of Lead', 'Down In Louisiana' and 'You Gave Me A Mountain'. If that’s not enough to convince, then Brendan Shines renditions of 'Are You Diggin’ ‘em Dillon' and 'My Old Country Home' will surely get feet tapping!

Many other famous country names will also take to the stage on the night including, Red Hurley, Vladimir Jablokov, Trudy Lawlor, Ireland's Greatest Tenor Eugene Ginty and The Four Masters Quintet. Driving force behind the event is Donegal-native Eamonn Gillespie, who has had strong connections with the hotel over many years. “This will be our biggest and most exciting production to date” says Eamonn, excited about the upcoming concert. Eamonn is known widely throughout the country for his extensive musical talents, and is sure to take to the stage on the night with a tune or two of his own.
