It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Mary Brady (née Brady)

6 Drumnaveil, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Mary Brady (nee Brady) 6 Drumnaveil, Cootehill, formerly Gurteen, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. September 5th 2022 peacefully surrounded by her family at Cavan General Hospital, Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Patrick (Paddy),her parents Bernard and Margaret, brothers John and Bernard, sister Bridgie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, Son Philip, daughter Margaret, sisters Rose, Kathleen, Phyillis and Lena, son-in-law Fintan, grandchildren Natasha, Cillian, Elisha, James, Nathan and Rebeka, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral cortege leaving her daughter and son-in-law's residence Kilnacross, Drung H12AK52 this Thursday morning at 10.15am via Tullyvin, Gurteen to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Kill for 11am funeral mass, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Those who would like to attend but cannot do so may leave a message for the family in the condolence section below please. The Brady family would like to thank you for your consideration and cooperation at this difficult time.

Peter O'Hara

Ardlougher, Dowra, Cavan

The death has occurred of Peter O'Hara, London and formerly Ardlougher, Dowra, Co. Cavan. Sadly missed by his sister Peggy McGuire and family , Glenfarne.

Remains arriving at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Doobally, Dowra, at 7pm this Wednesday evening, via Kilduff, Ardlougher, Tullinamoile and Tubber. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sean McCaffrey

3 New Houses, Tyholland, Co. Monaghan

Sunday, 4th September, suddenly, at his residence. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Mary and his father Francie. Sean will be sadly missed and deeply regretted by his son Scott, daughter Ciara, daughter in law Sharon, grandsons Kai, Ethan, Rhys and Calum, mother Aggie, brothers Peadar & Kieran, sisters Mary, Deirdre & Frances, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sean's remains will repose at his residence until removal on Friday morning to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Tyholland, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Sean's Funeral Mass will be streamed live on; https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-tyholland.
