HSE vaccine appeal to healthcare workers

The HSE has urged healthcare workers to avail of Covid-19 booster vaccinations at pop-up clinics across the region.

A number of clinics are being held in Monaghan and Cavan this week to provide vaccines to those in eligible cohorts.

Booster doses are also available for those aged between 12 and 49 who are medially vulnerable and those aged 50 years and over.

Clinics will also be held for those aged 12 and over and those aged between five and 11 for their first and second doses.

The HSE says appointments must be made for those wishing to receive vaccinations.

Operational Lead for the Cavan-Monaghan Vaccination Service Paula Loughran said “We welcome healthcare workers for their second booster vaccination at any of our pop up clinics in Cavan and Monaghan this week. We are also inviting those who are medically vulnerable between the ages of 12 and 49 for their second booster vaccination.
