Cooler spell hits with some showers expected

There will be a mix of cloud and sunshine today. The best of the sunshine this morning across north Leinster and west Munster.

Most places will stay dry but there will be isolated showers, mainly in Ulster and Connacht. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in a light westerly or variable breeze.

TONIGHT

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with isolated light showers, mainly affecting Ulster.

Patches of mist and fog will develop in a light and variable breeze. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.

TOMORROW

Monday will be generally cloudy although there will be some sunny breaks at times.

There will be well scattered light showers, mainly in Ulster and Leinster, with a light south to southwest or variable breeze. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.
