It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Gladys Magovern (née Kellett)

Duffcastle, Crosserlough, Cavan

Gladys Magovern, Duffcastle, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan. Tuesday, November 1st (peacefully) at home surrounded by her family. Sadly missed by her husband Harry, daughter Jayne, sons Ronald, Richard and Alan, sisters, brothers, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, her cherished grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Safe In The Arms of Jesus.

Resting at her home (eircode A82 NP03) on Thursday from 12 noon to 8pm (House private thereafter) Funeral Service on Friday in St. Patrick's Church, Kildrumferton at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Patrick's Church Repair Fund c/o Briody's Funeral Home or any family member.

Tullintrot, Castleblayney, Monaghan

Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Wednesday the 2nd November 2022.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, brothers John and Michael and his sister Sally Morris.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his nieces, Mary, Patricia, Margaret, Bernie, Josie, Martina and Deirdre and his nephew Francie, extended family, neighbours and friends.Reposing privately among his family and friends at his home from 12 noon tomorrow (Thursday) until removal at 6:45 pm arriving to St. Patrick's Church, Oram, Castleblayney Co. Monaghan for 7:30 pm. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Friday with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
