The death has occurred, suddenly, of Dermot Donoghue, Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly Cloughbally Upper, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, Monday 7th November 2022. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and best friend Amanda, his beloved children Eli, Shane, Thia, and Rory. Deeply regretted by his beloved parents Patsy and Marie, brothers Noel, Enda and Niall, sister's-in-law Sandra, Aisling and Una, nieces and nephews Eoghan, Cian, Oisin, Cathal, Eimear, Chloe, Lorcan and Aaron extended family and friends.

Pearse Dunne, Kyoto, Japan, formerly St. Brigid's Terrace, Cavan, passed away on 11th October, 2022, peacefully at home after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents John Joe and Teresa, brothers Bobby and Kevin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Shoko and daughter Ai, brothers Philip, Emmet and Rory, sisters Carol, Susan, Anne-Marie and Sharon, brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 12th November, at 12 noon in St. Clare’s Chapel, Cavan. All welcome.

Galbolie, Bailieborough, Cavan

Julia Maguire (nee Clarke), Galbolie, Bailieborough, Co Cavan. Died 07th November 2022 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Peter (Killeshandra), her brothers Paddy, Phil and Frank, sisters Bridgie, Rose and Mary.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Eileen and Barbara, sons in law John and Gordon, her cherished grandchildren Emma, Leanne, Rebecca, Kate, Jayne and Rhys, her sisters Nora (Cavan) and Agnes (Carrickmacross), sisters in law Dympna, Kathleen, Lucy and Stella, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough Wednesday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough Thursday for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Anne's cemetery. Angel Mc Mahon, Mc Enaney (née Mc Cabe)

Mullabrack, Shercock, Cavan, A81 WCO3

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husbands, Michael Mc Enaney and Michael Mc Mahon, sister Jeanette and brother Malachy. Sadly missed by her beloved sons and daughters Roma, Georgie, Stephanie, Tommy, Michelle and Catherine, her 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, Martin, Caroline, Benny, Ita and Ernie, sisters and brother, Deidre, Carol and Thomas,brother-in-law,Fran, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and large circle of friends.

Reposing at her residence on Thursday from 2pm until 8pm.House private at all other times. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Shercock, for funeral Mass at 12 noon.Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Gay O'Driscoll

Monkstown, Dublin / Cavan

O’DRISCOLL (née Hamilton) Gay (Monkstown Co. Dublin and formerly Cavan) 5th November 2022. Peacefully, in her 95th year, in the exceptional care of the staff in St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Denis and devoted mother of Gerald. She will be sadly missed by her son, daughter-in-law Patricia, grandchildren Daniel, Matthew and Eve, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in the many places she made her home – Cavan, Monkstown, Waterford, Ennis, Killarney, Bantry and Skibbereen.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing on Saturday (November 12th) from 12pm to 3pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, Co. Dublin (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass on Monday (14th November) at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen. John James (Sean) Smith

London and formerly of Kilnavarra & Lurganboy, Cavan

The death has occurred of John James (Sean) Smith, London and formerly of Kilnavarra & Lurganboy, Cavan. John died peacefully on October 28th 2022.

Predeceased by his parents James and Eileen, his sister Mary (Liverpool) and recently by his brother Terry (Hornchurch, Essex).

John will be sadly missed by his sisters & brothers, Eileen (Galway), Kate (New York), Hugh (Meath) and Noel (Dublin), his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family relatives & friends.

Funeral service will take place on Friday November 18th at 12 noon in Manor Park London Crematorium Chapel followed by a cremation service.

Seveagh, Glaslough, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Lorraine Delea, Seveagh, Glaslough, Co. Monaghan. Monday, 7th November, peacefully at her residence. Predeceased by her father Pat and brother Cathal. Lovingly remembered by her mother Vera, brother Pat (Ina), sisters Bernie (Alan), Michelle, Breffni (Stefano) & Carol (Mike), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Lorraine's remains will repose at her sister Carol's residence, Terrycalf, Glaslough, H18 WE06 from 6pm on Wednesday evening until removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St.Mary's Church, Glennan for 11am Funeral Mass. Camelia McDonagh (née Krauss)

Ballybay, Monaghan / Mullingar, Westmeath

Camelia McDonagh (née Krauss) – Ballybay, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Petitswood Manor, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath – November 7, 2022 (peacefully) with her partner John and her devoted family by her side and in the tender care of the management and staff at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Christopher; Camelia will be very sadly missed by her partner John McElvanna, her children Tibi, Ciprian and Alina, her father Martin, daughters-in-law Michelle and Niki, her cherished grandchildren Maya, Brody, Relu and Gabriel, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and many good friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan's Funeral Home Mullingar N91 K660 on Friday from 3.30 o'c with removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 5 o'c. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. and the Mass may be viewed live on www.mullingarparish.ie

Private cremation will take place afterwards.
