It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Lucy Clarke (née McCaul)

Virginia Road, Bailieborough, Cavan / Monaghan

Lucy Clarke (née McCaul),Virginia Road, Bailieborough and formerly of The Hideout, and Co. Monaghan. Died, peacefully, on 12th November 2022, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy and her brother Philip. Cherished mother of Leonie, Gemma and Ronan and adoring grandmother of Sean, Emma,Orla and James. She will be deeply missed by all of them and by her sons-in law, Brendan and Val, daughter-in-law Carina, her sisters Celia and Joeen, brother Leo, sisters-in-law Breda, Carol, Nora, Agnes and Dympna, nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

May She Rest In Peace.

Dermot Donoghue

Mullagh, Cavan / Meath

The death has occurred, suddenly, of Dermot Donoghue, Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly Cloughbally Upper, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, Monday 7th November 2022. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and best friend Amanda, his beloved children Eli, Shane, Thia, and Rory. Deeply regretted by his beloved parents Patsy and Marie, brothers Noel, Enda and Niall, sister's-in-law Sandra, Aisling and Una, nieces and nephews Eoghan, Cian, Oisin, Cathal, Eimear, Chloe, Lorcan and Aaron extended family and friends.

Funeral will take place in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at 10am Local Time on Wednesday 16th November

Memorial Mass at 10 am on Saturday 19th November in St Kilian's Church, Mullagh

Suddenly. Predeceased by his parents Margaret (Maggie) and James. Sadly missed by his son Francis brother Patrick (Killeshandra), sisters Maureen Lewis (Newtownbuttler), Alice Reilly (Roslea), Gearldine Owens (Corlough), Anne McManus (Crosdonney), Breege Prior (Dunboyne), Majella Lynch (Killeshandra), Bernadette Reilly (Gortaclogher) brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his residence from 5pm until 10pm today Sunday and tomorrow Monday from 4pm until 11pm.One way system in operation entrance from Templeport resource centre.Removal on Tuesday morning to arrive at St Patrick's church, Kilnavart for funeral mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Coyle (née Coyle)

Monneill, Rockcorry, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Mary Coyle, Monneill, Rockcorry, Co Monaghan, Sunday November 13th, peacefully in the loving care of Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home and surrounded by her loving family, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her parents and her loving husband Leo, brother Thomas, son Aiden and grandson Christopher Leahy. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters: Maria Kelly (Eamonn), Phyllis Leahy (Tony), sons Gerry (Andrea) and Ciaran (Mary), grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Remains reposing at the residence of her son and daughter in law, Gerry and Andrea, Rockcorry, H18EH94 from 3pm to 9pm Monday, and 3pm to 9pm Tuesday, with removal on Wednesday morning 16/11/22 to arrive at St. Mary's Church Corravacan, arriving for 11 o'clock funeral Mass. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in Holy Trinity cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

As a mark of respect for the late Mary Coyle, Coyle's Service Station will be closed until Thursday 17/11/22, also Coyle's Pharmacy and Scotstown Pharmacy will be closed on Wednesday 16th from 11am until 1pm.
