Gift wrapped at Veale’s AllCare Pharmacy
Veale’s AllCare pharmacy is a family-run pharmacy with a strong customer centred ethos putting the client first.
While the dispensary is the focal point of the business, the Main Street outlet offers a range of products and services.
Veale’s AllCare Pharmacy provides products and services including prescription services, flu vaccination, BMI check, smoking cessation, blood pressure checks and other health checks.
With four weeks to go to Christmas, pharmacist Peter Veale says that the festive buzz is building. “People are starting to think about what they are getting and putting things aside,” he tells the Celt.
Veale’s AllCare Pharmacy prides itself on giving customers an impressive selection of Christmas gifts including fragrances, sets and hampers, all professionally wrapped by staff in store. “We have an extensive variety of perfumes. We are stockists of Thierry Mugler, Hugo Boss, YSL, Lancome, Armani, Jimmy Choo, Versace, Marc Jacobs and Coach.
“We are the sole stockists of Body Shop in Cavan Town. We also stock Isadora, Rimmel, LA Girl, Flormar, Sculpted and SOSO cosmetics. We also do gift hampers made to order.”
The festive shopper can choose from skincare staples like cleansers and moisturisers or more exclusive body products as a gift for their loved ones or a treat for themselves.
Peter says the success of the pharmacy is down to the loyal customer base and dedicated staff.
“We are in our 42nd year,” he tells the Celt. “We hit the 40 year mark in June of last year.”
The pharmacist says customers are preparing for Christmas early this year: “We had a customer appreciation day last week and it was very busy. It went very well. We are kept going, people are buying early.
“There is uncertainty about stock, so people are aware of that and buying what they can when they can, rather than waiting for the last minute. Having said that, there will always be the last minute rush.”
Peter extended the greeting of the season to all the Veale’s AllCare Pharmacy customers: “We would like to thank our customers for their understanding and support over the last year. We wish all our patrons a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2023.”
