Margaret Corrigan (née Walsh)

Proudstown, Navan, Meath, C15 E9D3 / Redhills, Cavan

Peacefully after a short illness at the Mater Hospital, Dublin

surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Eamonn, father Mick, mother Katie, brother Gussie, sister Monica and brother-in-law Charlie McCabe.

Margaret will be very sadly missed by her loving daughter Katie, brother Paddy (Redhills), sister Mary Murphy (Newtownbutler), mother-in-law Evelyn, Katie’s fiancé Cian, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at her residence on Friday from 1pm . Removal on Saturday morning at 9.15am arriving at St. Oliver’s Church, Navan for Funeral Mass at 10am which can be viewed on https://www.youtube.com/c/JoeFinnegan. Burial afterwards in Rathkenny Cemetery.

Hugh (Hugo) McEnerney

Moynagh, Finea, Cavan

Hugh (Hugo) McEnerney, Moynagh, Finea, Co. Cavan, Wednesday, November 30th (peacefully) at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Frank & Annie and sister Nancy. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, daughter Annemarie, sons Francis & Michael, son in law Eamonn, daughter in law Ruth, sister Maura, brothers Michael & Patsy (Florida), grandchildren Jasmine, Lauren, Leon, Connor, Ryan, Eloise & Hugo, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Removal from his home on Saturday to St. Mary's Church, Carrick arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Shannow, Ballinagh, Cavan

Mary Smith, (née Reilly) Shannow, Ballinagh. Predeceased by her loving husband Pat, and siblings Philip, Josephine,and Margaret. Sadly missed by her sorrowing sons James (Elena), Philip (Eimear), Peter (Janet), Patrick, daughter, Annette and her adoring grandchildren Blaithin, Mae, Beibhinn and Pat, brothers Sean, Jimmy, Barney, sister Kathleen,The staff, past and present, of Cavan General Hospital, where Mary worked for many years, also her nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Finnegan's Lakeland Funeral Home & Crematorium, Dublin Rd., Cavan, on Friday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Removal to St. Mary's Church, Bruskey, on Saturday morning, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Mullaghboy Cemetery.

Noreen Smith (née Mulcahy)

Oakhill, Castlecomer, Kilkenny / Cavan Town, Cavan

& formerly o Essex, England

Peacefully in the loving care of the Staff at Drakelands Nursing Home, Kilkenny.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, brothers Joe and Eamon, sisters Teresa and Eileen. Noreen will be sadly missed by her daughter Annmarie (Wallace) and son Kevin, their partners Jim and Kathy, her beloved grandchildren Liam, Ciarán, Conor, and Emma, brothers Paddy, Dick, Jimmy, Sean and sisters Mae, Bernadette, and Margaret. Her many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends particularly her dear friends in the Active Retirement Group, Castlecomer.

Noreen will repose at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer, on Saturday (3rd December) from 10.30am and will be received into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer for Funeral Service at 1pm. From there she will depart to McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan Town, where she will repose on Sunday (4th December) from 1pm. From there she will travel to Lakelands Crematorium arriving for Reception and Cremation Service at 3pm.

Morris, Rathgar, Dublin, November 30th 2022 (unexpectedly), Andrew (Andy), beloved son of Martin and Marie and dear brother of Delphi. Predeceased by his darling sister Holly, aunty Aoife, uncles Seamus and Fr. Fintan, grandad Peter Tuohy and nana Mary Morris. Sadly missed by his loving dad, mam, ‘little sister’, nana May Tuohy and grandad Des Morris, godparents Paudge and Rosemary, aunties, uncles, cousins, best friends Bronagh and Anil, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The death has occurred of Kathleen Markey (née Kieran), Rosdrenagh, Donaghmoyne, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan peacefully at Castleross Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, 1st December 2022. Predeceased by her husband Peadar, sister Molly, brothers Tom, Pat, Mick and Harry. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons Patsy, Eamonn, Enda and Peadar, daughters-in-law Mary, Geraldine and Grainne, her eleven grandchildren and great-grandchild, sister-in-law Kathleen Kieran (Inniskeen), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Edith (Edie) Niblock (née Sloan)

Creevagh, Ballybay, Monaghan, A75 HX33

Peacefully on Thursday, 1st December 2022, at home, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband David, grandson Darren, sister Annette and brother Bertie (Sloan).

Edie will be dearly missed by her beloved family Victor (Sandra), Mervin (Caroline), Edith (Charlie Wilson), Leslie (Jean), Ruth (Noel Wilkin), Linda (Cranston Gill), Derek (Jillian) and Alan (Janice), also her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephew Robert (Sloan), the entire family circle and many friends.

Resting at her home from 4pm today (Thursday) until removal on Saturday, 3rd December, at 12.30pm, for Funeral service in First Ballybay Presbyterian Church, eircode A75 NA48, at 1pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Church yard.

Bridie Sweeney

10 Rooskey vale, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Bridie passed away in the loving care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Formerly of 10 Belgium Square, Monaghan Town. Predeceased by her brother Kevin and sister Marie Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Liz, granddaughter Victoria and grandson Christopher. her loving sisters Eileen, Vera and Anna, her supportive brother in law and sister in law Martin and Anita. Bridie will be sadly missed by her nephews and nieces and many friends.

Bridie will repose in Mc Mahons Funeral Home, Emyvale from 6pm to 9pm Friday, 2nd December, and 3pm to 7pm Saturday, 3rd December. Bridie's funeral mass wiil take place in St Macartan's Cathedral on Monday, 5th December, at 11am with interment afterwards in Calvary Cemetery, Latlurcan.
