John SMITH

4 Nuncio Road, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny / Kingscourt, Cavan

Smith (4 Nuncio Road, Kilkenny, formerly of Assumption Place, Kilkenny and Kingscourt, Co. Cavan) 7th December 2022, suddenly at home, John, predeceased by his father Johnny, beloved husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Caoimhe and Clodagh, sadly missed by his loving wife and daughters, mother Marie, sister Rosena, brothers Mark, Ciaran, Alan, parents-in-law Jim and Mary White, brothers -in-law Pat and Anthony, sisters-in-law Bernie, Maria, Annie, Susan and Paula, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May John Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Johnston's Funeral Home on Sunday (11th Dec) from 5pm to 7pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 10.30am in St. John's Church. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery.

Thomas Tully

Crosscarn, Mullagh, Cavan / Meath

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Tully, Crosscarn, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, Thursday, 8th December 2022, suddenly at his home. Predeceased by his father Owen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his mother Rose, brothers James (JP), Gene and Anthony, sisters in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home A82 X660 on Friday, 9th December, from 3pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning, 10th December, arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Cross for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Mullagh Cemetery.

Rest In Peace Tom.

The family would like to thank the Ambulance Crew of Navan and Cavan Hospital’s for all their care and help.

Elizabeth (Lilian) Edmond (née Mc Court)

Mount Merrion, Dublin / Castleblayney, Monaghan / Knockbridge, Louth

Elizabeth (Lilian) Edmond, late of Callary Road, Mount Merrion, Co Dublin, and recently Laragh, Co Monaghan and Knockbridge, Co Louth. Predeceased by her beloved husband Matt. Deeply regretted by her children, grandchildren, siblings and extended family.

A private family burial took place at Mount Venus Cemetery on 7 December. Donations to Medecins sans Frontieres, Focus Ireland and Peter McVerry Trust.
