It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Eamon Brady

Clontarf, Dublin / Cavan

BRADY Eamon (Clontarf, Dublin 3 and formerly of Milltown, Co. Cavan) – 10th December 2022, (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the staff of Nazareth House Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Peggie) and son-in-law Kevin Mallon. Loving father of Alan, Patricia, John, Ray and Catherine. He will be sadly missed by his children and their spouses Ray, Leonie, Joan and Alastair, grandchildren Emma, Kilian, Laura, Colin, Owen, Lisa, Kate, Megan, Mark, Joanne and David, great-grandchildren Lily, Sophie and Daniel, sister Chris (Murphy), extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Lying in repose at The Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, Dublin 3 on Tuesday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10.30am in St. Gabriel’s Church, Dollymount followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.

Farrell John O'REILLY (Reilly)

Swords, Dublin / Killeshandra, Cavan

O'REILLY(REILLY), Farrell John (late of Swords, Co. Dublin & formerly of Killeshandra, Co. Cavan) - December 9th, 2022 (peacefully) at home. Beloved husband of the late Pat. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Averil, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (Dec. 13th) evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Removal on Wednesday (Dec. 14th) morning to St. Colmcille's Church, Swords arriving for 10 a.m. Mass followed by funeral to Dardistown Crematorium. Mary Beggan (née Charity)

Clonkeencole, Clones, Monaghan, H23 F998

The death has occurred of Mary Beggan (Nee Charity), Clonkeencole, Clones, Co. Monaghan. Mary passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Bridget and Edward, her husband Jodie, her son Edward, her sister Nancy Quigley and brothers Kevin and Edmund.

Mary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughter Gabrielle (Martin Sweeney), sons Joe (Aileen), Noel (Caroline) and Mark (Colleen), her sisters Carmel (Monaghan, O'Neill Park, Clones), Rosemary (Mc Kiernan, Cootehill) and brother Gerry (England), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Mary.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Mary will repose at the family home, Clonkeencole, Clones (H23F998) this Monday evening from 4pm until 9pm and again tomorrow, Tuesday, from 3pm until 9pm with removal on Wednesday morning at approx 10.30am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver Cemetery, Clones.

Family flowers only please donations in lieu of flowers to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o Martin's Funeral Directors, Newbliss or any family member.
