Margaret Brady (née Smith)

Drumbannon, Bailieborough, Cavan

Margaret Brady, Drumbannon, Bailieborough, died suddenly, on 14th December 2022. Predeceased by her husband Sean, sisters Kathleen and Bridget and brother T.P. Deeply regretted by sister Jane, brothers in law Philip Brady and Matt Donnellan, sister's in law Kathleen and Celia , nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours and extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough, Friday evening from 4pm until removal at 7:40pm to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough, at 8pm. Funeral Mass Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery.

John Charles ( Jackie ) Crowe

Cornagarrow, Drung, Cavan

The death has occurred of John Charles ( Jackie ) Crowe. Late of Cornagarrow, Drung, Co Cavan and Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan.

Passed away peacefully on Thursday the 15th of December in the loving care of his family & staff of Esker Lodge nursing home.

Predeceased by his parents Charlie & Emily Crowe. Jackie will be sadly missed by his cousins and a large circle of family & friends.

Resting at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill on Friday the 16th from 5pm - 7pm. Funeral service on Saturday the 17th at 1pm in Drung Parish Church followed by internment in St Andrews Church, Scothouse Co Monaghan H23W226.

Maureen Duffy (née Harrington)

Carrickacreeny, Shercock, Cavan

Peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

Reposing at Deery's Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, on Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 2.30pm in St Patrick's Church, Shercock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bridie Dunne (née Doyle)

Bruise, Lisduff, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred unexpectedly of Bridie Dunne, Bruise, Lisduff, Virginia, at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Recently predeceased by her husband Mattie, her daughter Anne and son in law Paul. Much loved and cherished mother of Jimmy, Philip and Geraldine (Glackin) and adored grandmother of Amber, Annie, Harry, Sadhbh, Oisin and Caitlin and adored great grandmother of Lily- Rose and Matthew. Deeply regretted and very sorely missed by her sons, her daughter, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sisters, her brothers, her daughters in law, her brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home on Friday from 4 o'clock until 8 o'clock.

Removal on Saturday arriving to St. Matthew’s Church, Maghera for 3 o'clock Funeral Mass followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium.

Old Bawn, Tallaght, Dublin / Canningstown, Cavan

Lynch, Philip, 9th December 2022 (Old Bawn, Tallaght and formerly of Canningstown, Co. Cavan), (unexpectedly), but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Tallaght Hospital; beloved husband of Rosemary, much loved dad of Tara and Gillian and adored and devoted grandad of Ava and Holly. Philip will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law Wayne, brother Kevin, sisters Maureen and Margaret, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Daniel Mahon

15 Mount St. Joseph, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Daniel Mahon, 15 Mount St. Joseph, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully and surrounded by his family at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, 15th December, 2022.

Predeceased by his father Dick. Deeply regretted by his mother Marie, partner Gail, children Jack & Ruby, sister Leanora and his brothers Anthony & Richard. Sadly missed by his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home, 15 Mount St. Joseph (A82 T8X8), on Saturday, 17th December, from 2pm to 8pm. Daniel’s funeral cortège will travel from his home on Sunday, 18th December, at approximately 11.30am for his Funeral Mass which will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt at 12 pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Edna McIntyre (née Brown) 6 Portaliffe Beg, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Thursday, December 15th, peacefully, in Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet, in her 101st year, surrounded by her loving family and the management and staff of Oakview Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Robert, son Louis, daughter Patricia, sisters Annie, Nora and Mary.

Edna will be very sadly missed by her daughter Betty, son Robin, sons-in-law Russell and Stephen, daughters-in-law Olive and Max, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many, many friends.

Resting in Lawlor's Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet, Eircode H14 R583 tomorrow, Friday evening, from 6pm until 8pm.

Removal from her daughter Betty and son-in-law Russell's residence in Lisnaskea on Saturday, 17th December, at 1pm, arriving at Killeshandra Parish Church at 2pm for funeral service, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Patsy) Oliver Malone, Watford, England and formerly of Drumboragh, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at Houndwood Care Home, Watford, Sunday 4th December 2022. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary, his partner Lee and brother-in-law Ray. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by son John (Carrickmacross), daughters Denise (Tumulty, Kilkerley), Grainne (Carrickmacross), brother to Noel, Peadar, Phil, Michael and Ann (McCabe, Haggardstown), grandchildren, son-in-law Ian Tumulty, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends in Monaghan and Watford especially his best friends Paddy Keenan and Julie Byrne-Jones.

The death has occurred of Lisa (Lise) Marron, Southampton, England and formerly of Peaste, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, following an illness at her residence, Sunday 4th December 2022. Much loved daughter of PJ and Ita Marron, sister of Raymond (Claudine), Johnny (Tricia), Damien (Maria), Shane (Sarah), Valerie (Matt) and Joseph (Nóra), devoted aunt to Dearbhla, Fionn, Nathan, Niamh, Clodagh, Oisín, Conor, Emma-Rose, Lilly, Cillian, James, Réaltín and Theodora, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and supportive friends in Southampton and Ireland.

A memorial service will take place at Southampton Crematorium (SO16 3QB) on Monday (19th Dec) at 11.30am followed by cremation.

The death has occurred of Tony Mc Gorman, Cooltrim, Latton, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday, December 14th, peacefully, at Cavan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
