Patrick Crosbie (Jnr)

Market Street, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Patrick Crosbie (Jnr), 3 Woodhead Road, Read, Lancashire, UK and formerly of Market Street, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Patrick passed away peacefully on 21st December 2022, at home in the loving care of his family following a short illness. Patrick is predeceased by his mother Sandy.

Patrick will be very sadly missed by his loving family; father Pat, his wife & best friend Kathryn, sons Oisín, Conor and Niall, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Patrick's funeral and cremation took place in England on 3rd January 2023. A mass in memory of Patrick will be held in St. Michael's Church, Cootehill on Sunday, 8th January 2023, at 11.30am and can be viewed at https://churchmedia.tv/camera/st-michaels-church

Niall McCauley

Staghall, Belturbet, Cavan

Niall Mc Cauley, Staghall, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 6th January 2023, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents May and Frank, brothers Tommy, Francis and Fergus. Niall will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Martina (nee O' Donnell), son Colin and Colin's partner Amy, grandchildren Fionn and Mila, brother Seamus, sisters Margaret and Nuala, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.

Niall will be reposing at Lawlor's Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet (H14 R583) this Saturday evening from 5pm until evening prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Sunday at 12.30pm to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Staghall, for 1pm Funeral Mass. Mary Lambe (née Ward)

The death has occurred of Mary Lambe (nee Ward) Formil, Shantonagh,Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Friday, January 6th, peacefully, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Packie, parents Phil and Mary, brother Pat and grandson Eoin O'Neill.

Mary, sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Mary, Margaret, Rose and Patricia, sons Peter, James and Philip, sons in-law Martin, PJ, Derek and Martin, daughters in-law Geraldine, Joanne and Emma, brother Phil Ward and his wife Mary, her 33 cherished grandchildren and her great-grandsons, nephews John and Colm, niece Mary, sisters in law Minnie and Margo, extended family, relatives and many friends and neighbours.

Mary will be reposing at her home tomorrow, Saturday, from 3pm - 9pm and Sunday from 3pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday 9th January at 11am in Sacred Heart Church, Lough Egish, (Eircode A75 VX44). Burial afterwards in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Bawn, Eircode A75 FY98.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to the palliative care team, especially Veronica and Denise, and to Alisha from the Irish Cancer Society, for the professional care given to Mary.

The death has occurred of Peadar McGuinness, Carrickaldra, Latton, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Friday, January 6th, suddenly, at his residence. Predeceased by his wife Moira and son John, his parents Owen and Susan, his brother Eoin and sister Susan (Sherry). Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his daughters and sons Marian, Owen, Kevin, Mairéad and Susan, daughters-in-law Siobhán and Sarah, Tomás and his cherished grandchildren Carla, Jamie, Aidan and Lucy, Emily and Sophie, Alice, Luke and Daniel, brother Eamonn, sisters-in-law Rose, Agnes and Sally, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, treasured neighbours and friends.

Peadar will repose at his residence in Carrickaldra, (A75 FW14), tomorrow Saturday, from 5pm until 9pm and again on Sunday, from 2pm until 9pm. Removal from the family home on Monday at 12 noon to arrive at St Mary's Church, Latton, for funeral Mass at 12.30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Seamus Treanor

Tirnaneil, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Seamus Treanor, Donagh House, Tirnaneil, Monaghan and formerly of Raflaconny, Killybrone, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan. Friday, 6th January, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Annie and his brother Sean. Seamus will be dearly missed by his loving sisters, Patricia (Kevin McKenna), Roisin (Hugh Bogue), his nieces, nephews and his friends in Donagh House.

Seamus' remains will repose at his sister Patricia’s residence at Mullabrackscott, Monaghan. House private to family and close friend’s only please. Seamus’ Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday morning at 11am at St Patrick’s Church Corracrin, followed by burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery Clara, Emyvale.

Catherine (Kit) Ward (née Loughran)

Pennybridge, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Catherine Ward (née Loughran), Pennybridge, Carrickmacross, Co. Monghan, peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff at Castleross Nursing Home, Thursday 5th January 2023. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Margaret Loughran (Aghalile Road, Carrickmacross), brothers Jim, Pat, Tom, Frank, Jack and Leo and sister Christina (Teenie) O’Hanlon, infant sister Margaret and her grandson Ross. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters Marguerite and Jacqui (Murphy), brother Vinnie, grandchildren Patrick and Sophie, great-grandchild Ryan, Sophie’s husband Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
