Philomena (Phyllis) Brett (née Coyne)

Main Street, Killeshandra, Cavan / Lisnaskea, Fermanagh

Phyllis Brett (née Coyne), Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh, and formerly Killeshandra, Co. Cavan. Died Tuesday 17th January 2023 peacefully in hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Christy and Mary Coyne (R.I.P.) Loving sister of Liz, Roseleen, Christy, Bernadette, Patricia and predeceased by her brother Frank (R.I.P.)

Phyllis will repose at Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Home, Brookeborough Road, Lisnaskea BT92 OLB on Thursday evening from 6pm untill 8pm with removal on Friday morning at 10.00 a.m. to arrive at St Brigid’s Church, Killeshandra for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Phyllis will be sadly missed by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sisters and the entire family circle.

Margaret (Maggie) McCaul

Bunnoe, Cavan

Margaret (Maggie) McCaul, Lisarney, Lisnageer, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Died 17 January 2023, shortly after her 100th birthday, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, in the presence of her family. Predeceased by her husband Packie, and her sons Patrick and Aidan.

Beloved mother of Noel, Mary, Philip, Gerry, Martin and Patricia. Will be very sadly missed by her children, her sons in law Tom and Mark, her daughters in law Anna, Susie and Mary, brother Aidan, her adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace

The death has occurred of Henzie (Henry) McKenna, 3 Mulladuff, Smithborough, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday 18th January. Henzie passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Maggie and Harry, and his sisters Maureen, Eileen, Margaret and Doloras.

Hensie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his devoted wife Annie, son Fergal (Loretta), daughters Ann, Christine and Bronagh (Morris), his grandchildren, Gary, Stephen and Aaron, Tara (Marc), Shane, Conor, Niall, Ciaron, Kelly-Ann and Katie, his great-grandchildren, Cormac, Clodagh, Aoife and Niamh, sisters Rose and and Betty (Mick),his brothers Hughie (Mary) and Pat, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved Henzie.

Henzie will repose at his residence 3 Mulladuff, Smithborough, tomorrow Thursday and again Friday, from 4pm to 9pm.

Henzie's Funeral procession will leave his residence, on Saturday, 21st January, to arrive at St Mary's Chapel, Magherarney, Smithborough for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Hensey's funeral mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/smithborough. Family flowers only please. Drumod, Latton, Monaghan, A75 DY83

Francie O’Brien Drumod, Latton, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan January 18th 2023 peacefully in the loving care of his family and staff at Castlemanor Nursing Home Cavan. Predeceased by his wife Brigid, parents James & Sarah, sister Eileen Black, brothers Seamus & Packie. Sadly missed and deeply regretted by his loving family, sons Seamus & Padraic (Drumconnick, Cavan Town), daughters-in-law Nicola and Cathriona, grandchildren Tadhg, Dáithí, Conor & Hugh, brother Michael, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at the residence (A75 DY83) of his Son Seamus and Daughter-in-law Nicola this Thursday from 3 o’clock to 8 o’clock. Removal Friday morning at 10.30am leaving his son’s residence to arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Bawn for 11.00am funeral mass followed by burial in adjoining cemetery House Strictly Private at all other times please. Family flowers only.
