Mary Boucher (née O'Brien)

Ashbourne, Meath / Cootehill, Cavan

Ashbourne, Co. Meath, formerly of Cootehill, Co. Cavan and Africa, February 9, 2023. Peacefully, in her 92nd year, in the excellent care of all the staff at The Four Ferns, Foxrock. Joining her beloved husband Pat.

Sadly missed by her sons John, Paul, Peter and Richard, daughters-in-law Sophie, Susannah, Louise and Sandra, her adored grandchildren, loyal and close siblings, siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends from a life filled with adventure, nurturing, fun and love.

Funeral Mass at 11.30am on Monday, February 13th, in St. Colmcille’s Church, Skyrne, Co. Meath, C15 D603 followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Jack Fadden

Greaghrahan, Ballyconnell, Cavan

February 10th 2023 peacefully in the dedicated care of the staff in Cavan General Hospital. Surrounded by his loving family, Donal, Raymond, Catriona, Michael, Colm, Yvonne, Liam and Fergus.

Jack will be deeply missed by his heartbroken family, his adored Grandchildren, his sister Maureen, brothers Pat, Fr. Mike, Eddie and Tommy, brothers and sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence, Saturday, from 2 o'clock until 8 o'clock.

Removal on Sunday morning arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell for funeral Mass at 11:30am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

No flowers please. Donations-in-lieu to St. Vincent de Paul.

Nuala Hyland

Clonskeagh, Dublin / Athlone, Westmeath / Fermanagh

9th February 2023 (peacefully) in her 97th year in the wonderful care of the staff at the Holy Family Residence, Clonskeagh.

Predeceased by her sister Maeve and brothers Donal, Frank and Jim; sadly missed by her nephew James and niece Annie and their families (both in the US), her relatives, neighbours, former Revenue colleagues and her many great friends.

Nuala lived a long, happy and full life and brought much joy and pleasure to those lucky enough to know her.

Funeral Mass on Friday morning (17th February) at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, followed by burial at Newtownbutler Cemetery, Co. Fermanagh (ETA to be advised).

Jean Flood (née Fitzsimons)

Ballineal, Oldcastle, Meath

Friday, February 10th; peacefully, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband James, parents John and Bridget, sister Bridget, brothers Paddy and Luke.

Sadly missed by her daughter Mary, son-in-law Trevor, grandchildren Jillian, Natasha, Allan, Ivan, her sister Agnes Carroll, her brother Peter Fitzsimons, sisters-in-law Rose and Mary, brother-in-law Vincent, nieces Ann Williams, Theresa Williams, Cliona Hickey, Lisa Rogers, nephews Martin Fitzsimons, Kyran Carroll, Cormac Carroll, John Fitzsimons, relatives and her many friends.

Reposing at her home at Ballineal, Oldcastle (A82 DT88) on Saturday, February 11th, from 4pm to 8pm.

Removal on Sunday morning, February 12th, from the family home to St Brigid’s Church, Oldcastle for Funeral Mass at 11.30am, with burial afterwards in local cemetery.

Jean’s family would like to express their gratitude to all the teams at Cavan General Hospital who cared for her during her short illness, especially Dr Paulo Pinheiro and his team; Dr Paula McKevitt, for her great care and support; Ger and all her colleagues at Meath Palliative Care for their loving care and attention; Deirdre, and all the Daffodil Nurses who helped Jean throughout her illness. Thank you to Tracey of Home Instead for looking after Jean so well, and for all the fun chats. The family would also like to sincerely thank everyone who expressed their good wishes through cards, messages and visits. A Mass will be said for all your intentions.
