It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Joan Marsden (née Tegart)

Doon, Ballyconnell, Cavan

February 18th peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her sons Glen & Ian. Sadly missed by her loving husband Charlie, sons Ivor, Brian (Charlene), Adam (Jess), daughter Lisa (Richard), brothers Victor (Rose), Dave Albert (Angela), sister Doris, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives & many friends.

Reposing at Lawlor's Funeral Home, Erne Hill, Belturbet (H14R583) on Monday evening from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Removal from her residence on Tuesday arriving at Tomregan Parish Church for funeral service at 2 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Patria McCaffrey (née Lee)

Bunn, Belturbet, Cavan / Butlersbridge, Cavan

Patria McCaffrey, (née Lee), Bunn, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, and formerly Butlersbridge, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, 18th February 2023. Predeceased by her mother, Bridie.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her adoring family, her husband Kieran, son James, daughter Ciara, father Michael, sister Corona, much loved aunts Carmel and Alice, father-in-law Denis, mother-in-law Agnes, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May She Rest in Peace

Patria will be reposing at Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet, (H14 R583), tomorrow evening, Sunday, from 6pm until evening prayers at 8pm.

She will be leaving her residence on Monday morning at 11.30am to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet, for 12 noon Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Drumalee Cemetery.

Patricia McKenna (née Devine)

146 Mullaghmatt, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Peacefully at home.

Sadly missed by her partner Pat, son Robert, daughters Chrissy and Leanne, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren Aaron, Finnian, Reece, Danny, Billy and Harry, brother Frank, sisters Marie, Liz and Bernie, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Removal from her home on Monday (20/02/2023) at 10.15 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. followed by private cremation.
