It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Joan Fitzpatrick (née Fitzpatrick)

Clonervy, Poles, Cavan, H12 XD83

Joan Fitzpatrick (O'Hanlon), (née Fitzpatrick) Clonervy, Poles, Co Cavan. Wednesday February 22nd peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Pre-deceased by her parents and her beloved daughter Ciara. Treasured and loving wife of Liam and devoted mother of Aoife, Orla, David, Darren, Damien and Liam, her adored grandchildren.

Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many, many friends.

Reposing at her home H12 XD 83 this Thursday evening from 7.00pm until 9.00pm and again tomorrow, Friday, from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.00am in St Patrick’s Church, Castletara, with interment in adjoining cemetery.

Fairview, Enniscorthy, Wexford / Shercock, Cavan

Formerly London & Glasleck, Co Cavan.

Beloved father of Lucy, Anthony & Edward and loving brother of Anne-Maria & Seán. Sadly missed by his loving family & Katya, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives & friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Crosbie’s Funeral Home, Enniscorthy on Monday from 5 o’c to 7 o’c. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 2 o’c at St. Patrick’s Church, Shercock, Co Cavan. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Jenna Brogan

Clonboy Lane, Clonboy, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Jenna Rose Brogan, Clonboy Lane, Clonboy, Clones Co.Monaghan. Unexpectedly, Wednesday 22nd February. Predeceased by her grandparents Jean and Brendan Brogan and Patrick Mc Kenna.

Cherished daughter of Mary and Patrick and adored sister Aoife (Darren), Deirdre (Jason), Patrick (Jemma), Marc, Niamh (George). Jenna will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her parents, sisters, brothers, partner Gareth and his son Mark, grandmother Mary Mc Kenna, nieces Saoirse, Ella, Eimear, Emma and Gráinne and her nephews Jamie and Aidan, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, many friends and by all who knew and loved Jenna.

May her gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Sean Dooley

Leeds and formerly of Essexford, Inniskeen, Monaghan

(DOB 23RD May 1950)

We share with great sadness the peaceful passing of Sean Anthony Martin Dooley on Wednesday 15th February 2023 in Leeds and formerly of Essexford, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan. Fortified by the rites of the Holy Catholic Church and surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Cait and his brother Seamus (USA). Deeply saddened and remembered with love by his loving wife Patricia and children, Caroline (Mark), Sean (Justine), Kieran, Damian (Donna) and Maidy. Treasured and much-loved grandad to Niamh, John-Dean, Jake, Liam, Zach, Harley-Gwen, Poppy, Alfie, Lilly, Archie, Damian Jnr, Josh, (Ellie) and loving great grandad to Parker. Much loved brother of Mary, Peader, Padraig Mairead, Tomas, Caiti, Pauline, Aine and Terence and a dearly respected, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and nephew to Mamie and Norma. Sean will be sadly missed by all his extended family, friends and neighbours.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Family Church, Leeds on Friday, March 10th 2023, at 12.45pm prior to Cremation at Cottingley hall Crematorium. Requiem Mass will be streamed, for further information please contact one of the family.
