5K Fun Run/Walk

WHERE: Killinkere Leisure Centre

WHEN: Sunday, March 5

WHAT: Killinkere Couch to 5K Finale Fun Run/Walk as part of the Vera O’Reilly Memorial 5km Charity. Time: Registration at 12pm. Run starts at 12:30pm. Spot Prizes on the day. Refreshments and sport on the TV in the Lounge after. Donations appreciated with all proceeds going to Virginia Cancer Care Fund and Residents of Virginia’s HSE Nursing Home.

Spring Concert

WHERE: Mullahoran Parochial

WHEN: Sunday, March 5

WHAT: The Apostolic Society will hold their annual Traditional Irish concert in the Parochial hall from 6–10pm. MC for the night will be chief organiser Antoin MacGabhann and a host of top class artists from all over the country will perform, admission is voluntary. As usual a great night’s entertainment is assured and copies of Ceol agus Spraoi will also be available.

Men on The Move

WHERE: Ballinagh GAA Grounds

WHAT: A free, men only physical activity programme. and every Tuesday and Thursday for 10 weeks. If you want to feel fitter and have more energy, want to start exercising – this is the place to go. No need to be a member of the football Club as Cavan Sports Partnership Insurance covers it and HSE funding covers the cost of Tutor provided.
