Jimmy Armstrong

11 Cabra View, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Jimmy Armstrong, 11 Cabra View, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan and formerly of Balloughly, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully and surrounded by his family at his home, 7th March 2023. Deeply regretted by his son Dermot, sisters Patricia (Pat), Mary & Betty, daughter-in-law Nuala. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Alex, Ella and Ross, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt, (A82 R3W2) on Thursday, 9th March, from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 11th March, at 10am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Rosaleen Flood (née O'Reilly)

Greaghrahan, Ballyconnell, Cavan, H14 RW59

March 7th 2023 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Benny, brothers Willie, Pat & Philip, sisters Ann & Marie. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Philip & Brian (Eilish), daughter Mary, sisters Kathleen (New York), Betty (Kells), grandchildren Aisling, Abbie, Harvey, Lucy, Michaela & Oscar, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence tomorrow Thursday from 12 o'clock until 4 o'clock. House private at all other times please. Removal on Thursday evening arriving at St. Mary's Church, Staghall at 7 o'clock.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 o'clock with burial afterwards in Drumlane Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations-in-lieu if desired to Palliative Care Cavan General c/o Brian Fee undertaker.

John William Lee

John William Lee, Rosehill, Mullagh, Co. Cavan and late of London, UK died on 7th March 2023 peacefully at the Lisdarn unit, Cavan. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, sisters Rita and Genie, brothers-in-law John and Bernard, nieces and extended family and friends.

Removal Friday, 10th March 2023, to arrive at St. Killian's Church, Mullagh for funeral mass at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingscourt.

(former member of the defence forces), 23 Ard Glas, Killygoan, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, and formerly Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary, March 8th 2023, peacefully at Blackwater House, Monaghan.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary and his sister Maura Carey.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Bridget, brothers John and Patsy, sisters Kathleen, Jojo and Bernie, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Square, Monaghan on Wednesday (08/03/2023) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday (09/03/2023) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. House private please.

O’NEILL, Eibhlín (Rathmines, Dublin and formerly of Nenagh Co. Tipperary and Smithboro Co. Monaghan) March 7th 2023 (peacefully) at St. James’s Hospital. Very sadly missed by her partner Dick Burke, her sisters Nuala, Síle and Geraldine, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Gerry Sweeney, Carrigans, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan. Tuesday, 7th March, unexpectedly at St.Vincent's Hospital, Dublin.

Pre-deceased by his father Jimmy & mother Maggie. Gerry was a loving husband to Tina and a fantastic father to Oisín & Ruán. Lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, brothers & sisters, brothers in law & sisters in law, his best friend Sean Arthurs, extended family and friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
