Breaking: Draw for Tailteann Cup confirmed

The Cavan senior footballers will travel to London for the third time in eight seasons following yesterday’s draw for the group stage of the Tailteann Cup.

The Breffni men will take on the Exiles in Ruislip in round three of the competition, which is pencilled in for the weekend of May 20-21 in Ruislip.

The competition throws in for Cavan on the weekend of May 13-14 with a home game against Laois and the group stage concludes with a game against Offaly on June 3-4 at a neutral venue.

Cavan are in Group 1. Group 2 consists of Meath, Down, Tipperary and Waterford; Limerick, Wicklow, Longford and Carlow make up Group 3, with Fermanagh, Antrim, Wexford and Leitrim filling out the remaining group.
