Chambergrist brings together the talents of musicians Barry O’Halpin, Alex Petcu-Colan and visual artist Elaine Harrington

Chamber Music

#3 Cavan Arts Festival highlight

Having read and re-read the promo for Chambergrist I'm still not entirely sure what on earth - or should that be under earth - to expect.

Set in a secret Cavan subterranean venue this Saturday, it is billed as "an immersive half-hour work of experimental live music and clay sculpture". However, since it features the combined talents of artist Elaine Harrington, and Crash Ensemble colleagues Barry O’Halpin (guitarist) and Alex Petcu-Colan (percussionists) it has all the makings of something splendidly other worldly.

There are two shows on Saturday at 6pm and 8pm for this its premiere live performance. Chambergrist is only a €15 gamble which means I'm there - wherever 'there' is.
