Sean Maguire

Yukon Bar, Holborn Hill, Belturbet, Cavan

Sean Maguire, Yukon Bar, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, suddenly at his home, on 8th June 2023. Predeceased by his parents Mary and John. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, darling daughter Linda and her partner Paul, brothers Peter, Gerard and Francis, sisters Nora, Maureen and Agnes, mother-in-law Frances, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Remains will be reposing at his residence this Saturday evening from 4pm until evening prayers at 8pm. Remains will leave his residence this Sunday, 11th June, at 12.30pm, to arrive at the Church of Immaculate Conception, Belturbet, for 1pm funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Staghall Cemetery.

Tony Nolan

Ture, Ballyconnell, Cavan, H14 X868 / Dublin

Tony Nolan Ture, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan & formerly Birmingham & Dublin. June 9th 2023 peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Brigid, daughters Úna & Sinéad, sons-in-law Paul & James, grandchildren Erina, Malachy & Áine, relatives & friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence tomorrow evening Saturday from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock and on Sunday evening from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock. House private at all other times please.

Removal on Monday morning arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes church, Ballyconnell for funeral mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Teresa (Terry) Reilly (née Kilgannon)

Stradone Street, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Teresa (Terry) Reilly, nee Kilgannon, Stradone Street, Ballyjamesduff and formerly of Dunowla, Templeboy, County Sligo. Peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Deeply regretted by her devoted husband Oliver. Sadly missed by her children Amanda (Darragh), Raymond (Sara), Peter (Trish) and Laura (Eamonn), her three adored grandchildren Brian, Frankie and Jimmy, her great-grandson Paddy and her brother, Bill Kilgannon, all her relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home, Stradone street, Ballyjamesduff, County Cavan, A82PW20, on Saturday the 10th of June from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Sunday in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff at 1pm followed by burial afterwards in the new cemetery.

Terry’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the medical staff at Cavan General Hospital especially those in ICU who cared for Terry over the last few days.

The death has occurred of Ken Whelan, Deerpark Place, Virginia, Co. Cavan and formerly of Cedarwood Road, Dublin & Brooklands, Wicklow. Ken passed away peacefully, at the Mater Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his son Donnacha and parents Jack and Kay. Ken will be deeply missed and remembered with great love and affection by Kathleen, his brother Ian, his sisters Diane and Linda, brother in law, Michael, Donnacha's mom Orla, Sue, his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, the extended Smith family, his cousins, neighbours and many friends.

Removal from his home on Sunday 11th June arriving for 3pm Requiem Mass in Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia, Co. Cavan, A82 CD98. Followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan H12 RF78.

The family wish to thank the staff at the Mater Hospital. Special thanks to those in the High Dependency Unit, who took such good care of Ken in his final days, we will be forever grateful. And for all those who lend their support in this difficult time.

Glasson Village, Athlone, Westmeath, N37 FY06 / Cavan

Sean White, (Renault Dealer), Glasson Village, Athlone, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Arva, Co. Cavan. Passed away reluctantly on Thursday 8th June 2023, at home surrounded by his wonderful family. Predeceased by his beloved daughter Aoife, parents Francis (Leitrim) and Margaret (Carlow) and his sisters Maura and Nuala. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (née Foley) , daughter Aideen, son-in-law Brian (Mooney), grandchildren Lily and Danny, sisters Rita (Vaughan) and Fidelma (de Faoite), in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Connolly, Lakeview House, Dernagrew, Monaghan (originally Scotshouse) Thursday, 8th June, at his home. Pre-deceased by his brothers Eoin and Jimmy, his sister Margaret (McAdam). Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Mary, daughter Cornelia, sons Fergus and Ronan, his sisters Kitty and Bridget, brother Seán, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Pat will repose privately at his home among his family. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am in St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Old Cemetery, Latlurcan.

The death has occurred of Peter McDonald junior, 8th June 2023, 13 Ard Na Lorgan, Castleblaney, Co Monaghan and late of 38 Dunard, Inniskeen, Co Monaghan, peacefully in the tender care of the staff of the Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family.

Peter beloved son of Peter and Margaret.

Much loved brother of Tara, Stacey and Nicole. Sadly missed and remembered fondly by brothers in law Ken and David, nephews Dylan, Adam and Ryan, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his parents' home, 38 Dunard, from 12 pm until 9pm Saturday 10th. Removal Sunday 11th at 9.30am to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, arriving for 10 am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross.
