A mixed bag of weather ahead

Tuesday will see a mix of cloud and sunny spells today with some scattered showers. A few may turn heavy. Top temperatures of 16 to 19 Celsius in light westerly winds.

Clear spells and scattered showers tonight. Cloud will thicken in many parts towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 Celsius in light southwest or variable breezes.

Dry at first on Wednesday. Some bright spells at first but mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading from the southwest and reaching all parts by mid-afternoon. The rain will be heavy at times during the afternoon and evening. Top temperatures of 16 to 18 Celsius. Southerly winds will increase moderate with fresher winds developing near the east and west coasts.

Going the forward we should expect changeable weather with an unsettled weekend in store.

On Wednesday rain will clear early in the night with showers following. Mild and humid under cloudy skies with temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees. Moderate southwest winds.

Mostly cloudy with brief bright spells. There will be some showers in most areas during the day. Highs of 19 to 21 degrees, warmest in the east and south with a moderate westerly breeze.

Good dry and clear spells during Thursday night with well scattered showers. Overnight lows of 11 to 14 degrees with mostly light southerly breezes, turning breezier on western coasts.

After a largely dry start, outbreaks of rain will cross the country during the day that will likely be heavy at times. Breezy with moderate to fresh southwest winds. Highs of 17 to 20 degrees. Blustery on Friday night with a mix of showers and clear spells. Lows of 10 to 13 degrees.

Widespread showers expected on Saturday in breezy or windy conditions. Showers may be heavy and prolonged, especially in the north. The forecast is uncertain for Sunday however further rainfall is possible. Temperatures around 16 to 19 degrees.
