Michael Gumley, Shankill Upper, Cavan, Wednesday July 26th, 2023, suddenly and unexpectedly, at his home. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lena, his brother Seamus (York), sister Mary (Leitrim) and Martin's partner Geraldine. Michael will be very sadly missed by his loving family. Michael (Frances), Martin, Bernard (Angela), Gerry (Geraldine) and Adrian (Samantha), his brothers Tom and Barney, his adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, all his extended family, good neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan on Thursday evening from 6pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11 o'clock in St.Brigid's Church, Killygarry followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

(née Cunningham)

Mullingar, Westmeath / Kilcogy, Cavan

Helen MCCONNELL (nee Cunningham), Irishtown, Mullingar (formerly of Kilcogy, Co. Cavan) July 25, 2023, (suddenly, but peacefully) surrounded by her devoted family, in the tender and compassionate care of the staff of the Intensive Care Unit, Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Helen will be deeply missed and always remembered by her beloved husband Michael, son Hugh and daughter Michelle, loved and adored grandchildren Lucia, Ailish, Quin, Cían and Toby, brothers Larry, Pat, Eugene and Henry, sister Margaret, daughter-in-law Grace, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Niall, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home in Irishtown, N91ND34 on Thursday evening July 27, from 5.00 o'c. until 8.00 o'c. House private thereafter please. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11.00 o'c. in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar followed by burial in Walshestown Cemetery.

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband of the late Sharon (O’Hagan), son of the late Anna and William and loving dad to Brian Jr., Dearbhla, Neil, Louise, Aoife, Liam, Eainne, Craig, Kate, Carla and the late Baby Niamh. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at home (Eircode A81 A381) from 7pm on Thursday, July 27th. Removal on Saturday, July 29th, to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, Dundalk (Eircode A91 F3FC), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk.

Peacefully in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her husband Michael and daughter Imelda. Dearly loved mother of Ann-Marie (Noel Duffy), Bernadette (Fabrice Frugier), Mairead, Jacinta (Padraig Myles), Gabriel (Kate) and Dolores (Peter Donnelly), a much loved grandmother to all her grandchildren. Loving sister of Eilish (Jimmy McHugh), Kathleen Coyle (USA), Una (Tom McEntee), Teresa (Joe Dowling), Bernadette (David Hannon), Monica Connolly, Margaret Page, brothers Liam (Geraldine), Phelem (USA) and Brendan (Cathy) (USA)

Mary will be reposing at her home on Thursday (27th) from 2pm until 10pm and again on Friday from 2pm until 10pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St Mary's Church, Magherarney, for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private on Saturday morning to family, neighbours and close friends only, please.
