Leona Maguire and her playing partner Charley Hull, eased to a 4&3 win over Nelly Korda and Ally Ewing of Team USA to earn a crucial point for Europe in the Solheim Cup.
The point means that Team Europe trail Team USA by just a single point on a score of 7-6.
With Leona having been beaten in the morning's foursomes, the pair needed the point to ensure team Europe stayed in contention in Casares, Spain.
Her attention will turn to the Sunday Singles matches.
