Philip Miney

Kiltrasna, Corlismore, Ballinagh, Cavan

Miney, Philip (Phil) Kiltrasna, Corlismore, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Philip and Maria, his sister Kathleen Miney and brother-in-law Nathy Cawley. Deeply regretted by his brothers John Joe, Cathal and Packie, sisters Mary and Teresa, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Gerry and all his nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and extended family along with his many friends and neighbours who were very good to him in his recent years.

Philip will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Rd, Cavan (H12 RF78) from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Sat 30th Sept. His funeral Mass will take place Sun Oct 1st at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coronea, Arva, Co. Cavan (H12 HN53) at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Friends of Cavan General Hospital. House Private, please. Margaret Mohan (née Higgins)

Lavey, Stradone, Cavan

Margaret Mohan (nee Higgins), Lavey, Stradone, Co Cavan. Friday, September 29th, peacefully at the residence of her daughter Mary and son-in-law Liam Sheridan, Killygrogan. Predeceased by her parents and sisters Susie, Annie, Mae, Bridie and Katie. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Mary, son-in-law Liam, grandchildren Margaret, James and Paul, sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law Stevie, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, tomorrow Saturday from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from the residence of Mary & Liam on Sunday, to arrive at St. Dympna's Church, Lower Lavey, for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Teresa Muldoon (née Teevan)

Lucan, Dublin / Redhills, Cavan

Muldoon (née Teevan), (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Redhills, Co. Cavan) September 28th, 2023 (peacefully) at home, Teresa, beloved wife of the late Seamus and dear mother of Colm and Oliver. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers John and Michael, grandchildren James, Henry and Maria, daughters-in-law Grace and Collette, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace. Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan, on Monday evening (October 2nd) between 6 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (October 3rd) to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery. Tommy Rooney

Kilcreen, Scotstown, Monaghan, H18 TR64

The death has occurred of Tommy Rooney, Kilcreen, Scotstown, Co Monaghan 29th September peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of Drumbear Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Bridget. Tommy will be sadly missed by his son Paul and wife Olivia, his sister Margaret Holland, sisters-in-law Margaret Fitzsimons (Inniskeen) & Mary Mc Donald (New York) brothers-in-law Myles & John Mc Cabe (New York), nieces nephews, neighbours & friends. Tommy will repose at his home on Sunday 01st October from 12 noon until 8pm. His funeral procession will leave his family home at 10:20am Monday morning to arrive at St Tierney's Church Roslea for 11am funeral Mass, with burial alongside his wife in adjoining cemetery.
