Dermot Sheridan, Dungimmon, Mountnugent, Co. Cavan. 6th November 2023. Suddenly at his residence. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Alice. Deeply regretted by his sister and brothers, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Dermot Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82D376) from 4pm-7pm on Tuesday, 7th November. Removal from his residence on Wednesday morning for funeral mass at 11am in Church of Ss. Brigid and Fiach, Ballinacree. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. If you would like to express your condolences, you may do so via the condolence book below.

The sudden death has occurred of John Smith, Dervor Farms, Carnaross, Kells, Meath and formerly of Lismeen, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen & Benny Smith. John will be sadly missed by his heart broken wife Fiona and children, Tanya (Neill), Shauna and Leona. His sisters Bernie (Aiden) Ryan, Gemma (Gerard) Nugent, Carmel (Sean) Kilemade and Yvonne (Jim) Thompson, brothers Breen (Maoliosa), Michael (Marie) and Gerry (Shirley), sisters in law, Meabh (Jim RIP) Brady and Helena (Patrick) Keenan, nephews, nieces, relatives and wide circle of friends

John will be reposing at his residence in Dervor, Carnaross (A82 A372) this Wednesday evening from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Thursday at 2pm in St. Matthew's Church, Maghera, Virginia with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Irish Heart Foundation. William (Willie) Smyth

Peacefully, in his 100th year, surrounded by his family, at Fairlawns Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Ina May (nee Fitzgerald), his son-in-law Tom, his brother Robbie and sister Margaret. Deeply mourned by his family Robert (Kathleen), Evelyn (John), Yvonne, Douglas. His grandchildren Sophia, Pamela, Rachael, Ann-Marie, Andrew, Robert, Niall and his great grandchildren Chloe and Conor. Sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at his son Robert’s residence Lisball, Bailieborough A82 V063, from 4pm – 10pm Tuesday, 07th November 2023.

Funeral Service at 2pm Wednesday, 08th November, in Bailieborough Parish Church. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. House strictly private Wednesday morning. Tony Talbot, Kinnypottle, Cavan and formerly Birr, Co. Offaly, Monday, November 6th 2023, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia (Pat) and devoted father of Derek (Lucinda) Tony (Catriona) Laura (James) and Gareth (Mairéad). Tony will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by his wife and family, his adored grandchildren Daniel, Rachel, David, Cian, Laura, Mark, Conor, James, Emily and Katie, his sisters in law Gladys, Gay and Annette, nephews, nieces, all his relatives and many, many friends. Tony will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan, H12 C821, on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday morning in the Cathedral of St Patrick & Felim, Cavan.
