Sunday 10th December 2023, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family. Predeceased recently by his loving sister Betty (McHugh)

Ernie will be dearly missed by his wife Harriet, son Robert, daughter-in-law Jean, grandchildren Mikala & Dylan, his beloved Jack, extended family, neighbours & friends. Funeral arrangements later. House strictly private please. Funeral Arrangements Later

Elizabeth (Betty) Hales (née Robinson)

Railway Road, Killeshandra, Cavan

Elizabeth (Betty) Hales (nee Robinson), Railway Road, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan. Monday December 11th peacefully in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Robert. Betty will be very sadly missed by her daughter Sandra, son David, grand-daughter Louise, daughter-in-law Monica, nieces Eva and Sylvia, relatives, neighbours and her many good friends.

Resting in Lakelands funeral home, Dublin road, Cavan on Wednesday (13th Dec) from 6pm until 8pm. Family, neighbours and friends are welcome to her home on Thursday 14th Dec, from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral service in Killeshandra Parish Church on Friday 15th Dec. at 2pm followed by burial in adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in-lieu would be much appreciated by the family to Cavan ISPCA c/o Clive Magee Funeral director, or donation box in the funeral home and church. Peacefully, on Monday, 11th December 2023, in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Richard will be dearly missed by his heartbroken family; his loving and devoted wife Patricia and his treasured and devoted son Cameron, step-daughter Louise and her partner Kevin, grandsons Brooklyn and Grayson, mother-in-law Genevieve, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and the entire family circle. Resting at his home.

Funeral service in St. Andrew's Parish Church, Scotshouse, eircode H23 W226 on Wednesday, 13th December at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only. The death has occurred of Charles (Charlie) Breen, 7 Oakview, Clones, Co. Monaghan. Charlie passed away peacefully at home in surrounded by his loving family, Monday 11th December 2023. Beloved husband of Mary and adored father of Nigel (Anne) and stepfather of Hugo (Valerie), Jacinta (Mike) and Martin (Fiona). Charlie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, son, stepchildren and their partners, grandchildren, Jonathon, Aaron, Aidran, Jamie, Eoin, Danny, Joey, Niall, Rian, Clodagh, James and Conor and great-grandchildren Lily, Ella, Danny, Katie Rose, Casey Mae, Shane and Jamie extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Charlie.. Charlie will repose at the family home 7 Oakview,, Clones, Co. Monaghan, (H23 DY29) tomorrow, Tuesday, and again Wednesday from 5pm to 9pm, family time at all other times please including Thursday morning, with removal on Thursday morning at 10.30am to the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones. Peacefully in her 90th year. Funeral service will take place in Athens. Mary will be dearly missed by her brothers Desmond (Eileen) Australia and Francie (Eleanor) Ballybay, niece Kathryn, nephews Gregory, Neville, Mark (Heather) and Adrian (Lorraine) and the entire family circle. The death occurred of Teresa Short, née Mc Cabe, Corcummins, Clones, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Cortagher, Aghadrumsee, Roslea, Co. Fermanagh. Teresa passed away suddenly, but peacefully, surrounded by her family, Friday, 8th December 2023. Beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy) Short. Predeceased by her father (Hugh), mother (Teresa), sister (Caroline McIntyre) and brother (Hugh-Gerard). Adored mother of Paul (Kris), Mark (Assumpta) and Natasha (Jose) and doting grandmother of Amelia and Luca. Teresa will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, daughter and their partners, grandchildren, sisters Kathleen, Bridie, Eileen, Norah and Yvonne, brothers Frank, Sean, Tom and Luke, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends and by all who knew and loved Teresa.
