Colm O’Reilly, Lahard, Killeshandra and Drumauna, Drung, Co Cavan, Wednesday, January 10th, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his father Thomas. Beloved son of Rose and dear brother of Philip, Oliver and Rosemarie. Sadly missed by his mother, brothers, sister, brother-in-law Brian Galligan, nephew Paídí, aunts Philomena and Margaret, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Saturday evening from 7.30-9pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 2pm in St. Brigid’s Church, Killeshandra, with interment in adjoining new cemetery. House Private at all times.

Annie Sophia Allison (nee Proffatt), Drumard, Cavan, Co. Cavan., Tuesday, January 9th, peacefully, in Castlemanor Nursing Home Cavan, in the tender care of the staff and her loving family, in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband John, daughter Jean, son David, sisters Mae, Sarah, and brother Johnny. Annie will be sadly missed by her loving son Robert, daughter-in-law Doris, grandsons Gary (Johanna), Wayne (Naomi), Adam (Sharon) Darren and her 13 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her very close friends.

Resting at the residence of her son Robert and daughter-in-law Doris, The Rocks, Crossdoney H12 W590 tomorrow, Thursday, 11th January, from 4pm until 8pm. House Private at all other times, please. Funeral Service in Cavan Presbyterian Church, Farnham Street (H12 V803) on Friday, 12th January, at 12.30pm, followed by burial in Kilmore Cathedral Graveyard. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeanette Grindle, nee Mitchell, of Cootehill, Co.Cavan. She departed peacefully on Tuesday, 9th January 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Jeanette was the beloved wife of Roy and a cherished mother to Ann, Robert, David and Jonathan. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her adored grandchildren, as well as her entire extended family and circle of friends.

A private family funeral service is scheduled for Friday, 12th January. House strictly private.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to all those who provided exceptional care for Jeanette over the past years, at home and more recently, at St.Anne's Nursing Home in Ballybay.

Brigid McGrath (née Murphy), Kilduff, Redhills, Co. Cavan, 9th January 2024, peacefully in the Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her loving husband, Max, parents Rose and Hugh, brothers Pat and Eddie, and her sister Rosaleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sons, Eamon, John, Hubert, Declan and Pat, daughters Kathleen, Rosemary and Michelle, her 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother Hugh, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan on Saturday, 13th January, from 4pm to 6pm. Remains arriving to St. Brigid's Church, Killoughter, Redhills, on Sunday morning, 14th January, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial immediately afterwards in Cullies Cemetery.
