Paradyn wins Cavan IT tender gig

Service provider Paradyn is to manage IT services for Cavan County Council and five other local authorities in a three-year deal worth half a million euros.

Along with Cavan, the Cork and Dublin-based firm provides access to technical support for Cavan, Leitrim, Longford, Louth and Monaghan, and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown councils.

Cavan County Council was the lead tenderer for the establishment of this 'Single Party Framework Agreement' for IT infrastructure.

Paradyn, which recently invested €250,000 in a new security centre at Little Island in Cork, already has extensive experience working with local authorities, managing security and assisting staff working remotely.

The tender replaces another fulfilled by Louth County Council on behalf of the counties some years back.
