Pianist's success continues with NCH show

SOLAS Monaghan Jamie Duffy has Dublin date in March

Rising piano star Jamie Duffy has backed up his internet success with the announcement of a live show at the National Concert Hall studio.

The 22-year-old Monaghan musician and songwriter will debut in the intimate surrounds of The Studio, on Tuesday, March 12.

Jamie's ascent has been remarkable. He made history with ‘Solas’, which was the most streamed debut song by an Irish artist since Hozier's ‘Take Me To Church’. It has also amassed more than 65 million streams on Spotify.

Jamie's music seamlessly blends traditional, popular, and classical influences. Other works include ‘Into The West’, his enchanting collaboration with County Mayo cellist Patrick Dexter, the poignant ‘What Am I Here For’ with Waterford’s Moncrieff and ‘Eyrie’ with Swedish neo-classical composer Peter Sandberg. He also recently worked with Limerick band Kingfishr on a piano version of their debut single ‘Flowers-Fire’.

Continuing his exploration of diverse musical landscapes, Jamie's single ‘Réalta’ is a rich and uplifting instrumental piano piece, celebrating the enchanting experience of celestial gazing during the small hours amidst the darkness of the Irish countryside. Tickets €15 on sale now.
