Vincent Maguire

Cordownan, Arva, Cavan

Vincent Maguire, Cordownan, Arva, Co. Cavan. Tuesday, 30th January, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Lisdarn Unit, Cavan. Beloved husband of Eileen and dear father of Caroline and Lorraine. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Annie, sister Mary, brothers Bernard, Jim, Pat and Aidan. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons in law Mark McKeon and Joe Farrell, his adored grandchildren, Sinead, Ciara, Ava and Eimear, sisters Alice Donohoe (Edgeworthstown), Teresa Maguire (Mullingar), Anne McDonald (England) and Helen Clarke (Cootehill), sisters in law Margaret and Hannah, brothers in law Tommy, Sean and Jackie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road Cavan, Thursday evening from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coronea, for 11.00am Requiem Mass. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

PETER MC CONNON

Church St, Shercock, Cavan

Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne, his sisters Betty (Grant), Sheila (Greenan), Kathleen (Byrne), Vera (Hewitt), Josie (Hughes) and his great friend, Pete Byrne. He will be sadly missed and remembered with much love by his son Martin, daughter-in-law Claragh and adored granddaughter Edith, his brother Francis (Sonny), sister Margaret (Peggy), brother-in-law Fran, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home in Church Street, Shercock, on Thursday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am in St Patrick's Church, Shercock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Jack Murdy

Ballyhaise, Cavan

Jack Murdy, 2 Woodlands, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, 30th January 2024, peacefully at his residence. Jack will be very sadly missed by all the family circle, neighbours and his many friends.

Resting in Lawlor's Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet (H14R583) tomorrow Thursday 1st February from 6pm until 8pm. (Walk through only please). Funeral service in St John's Church, Cloverhill on Friday, 2nd February, at 2.30pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.

The death has occurred of Peadar Duffy. Tullynaskeagh, Ardee Road, Carrickmacross. 31st January 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Drumbear Lodge Nursing home, Monaghan.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen, his parents James & Dolly, his brothers MJ, Pabo & Declan and his sister Colette.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family; his sons James (Sheila) & Peter (Helen) and his daughters Patricia (Ivan), Clare (Ian), Caroline (Sean) & Sinéad (Gabriel), his much-loved grandchildren; Grace, Alice, Matthew, Ryan, Elliot, Padraig, Oisín, Sophie, Conor, Eoin & Eirinn, his brother Hubert and his sister Mary, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Peadar will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Thursday, 1st February, from 3:30pm until 7:30pm.

Peadar's funeral cortège will leave his daughter Clare & son-in-law Ian's home, Magheraboy Road, on Friday, 2nd February, proceeding on foot via the Convent Hill to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
