Mary McAvinue

(née Reilly)

Chapel Road, Arva, Cavan

Mary McAvinue, Chapel Road, Arva, Co. Cavan. Passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital following a short illness surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Barney. Greatly missed by her sons Bernard, Fintan, Martin, daughter Irene, cherished grandson Finbar and granddaughters Mary Jane and DD.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Sunday evening from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Removal on Monday at 1.15pm to the Sacred heart Church, Arva to arrive for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm, Interment afterwards in Coronea Cemetery

May Mary rest in peace.

Ciaran Sheridan

Carrigallen, Leitrim / Arva, Cavan

Ciaran Sheridan, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim, formerly Arva, Co Cavan suddenly on the 29th of February. Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Margaret Sheridan. Sadly missed by his brothers John, Denis and Enda, sister Yvonne, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Jack and Margaret Sheridan's family home, Brankill, Arva, Co Cavan (eircode H12 KX09) on Sunday between 12pm and 4pm. House private at all other times, please. Removal on Sunday evening to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Arva, at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 4th March at 11am with burial afterwards in Cornea Cemetery.

John Wiggins

Oldcastle, Meath / Cavan

John Wiggins, Ballinacree House, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, passed away suddenly March 1st, 2024. Much loved husband of the late Susan, predeceased by his son Mark. He will be lovingly remembered by his son David, and by Sara, grandsons Christopher and Alex, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends and neighbours.

Funeral service in St. Bride's Church of Ireland, Oldcastle, at 2pm Monday, 4th March, followed by burial afterwards in Loughcrew Graveyard.

No flowers, please, but donations, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society.

Even the darkest night gives way to dawn.

Michelle Remenarova

(née McKenna)

27 Mullagh Glas, Monaghan Town, Monaghan / Emyvale, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Michelle Remenarova (nee McKenna), 27 Mullagh Glas, Monaghan Town and formerly 22 Oriel Park, Emyvale, Thursday, 29th February, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her mother Jean McKenna (nee Brady). Michelle will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Roman, father Vivion, sister Siobhan (Austin), brother Cathal (Grainne), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Michelle's remains will repose at her father's residence, 22 Oriel Park, Emyvale, H18 CC42, on Friday from 6pm-9pm and on Saturday from 6pm-9pm. House strictly private on Sunday morning, please. Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11am at St.Patrick's Church, Corracrin. Burial afterwards alongside her beloved mother in the adjoining cemetery.
