late of Stradone, Co. Cavan.

Christy McCaffrey, Templeogue, Co. Dublin, late of Stradone, Co. Cavan and retired member of An Garda Siochana, passed away peacefully on March 2nd 2024 at the great age of 92 yrs, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Jean and father of Mary, Jim, Fr. Kilian, Chris Jr, Helen and David, and wonderful grandad to Kerrie, Lauren, Ryan and Aidan.

Deeply regretted by his brothers and sisters Sr. Helen MSHR, Rita, Florrie and Austin and predeceased by Fr. Jim, Peter, Tommy, Dan, John, Eilish, Patsy, Breda, and Baby Austin.

Will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his extended family, daughters-in-law Anne and Sandy, son-in-law Wolfgang, many nieces and nephews, members of An Garda Siochana, close neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Michael McGovern, Ardlougher, Dowra, Co. Cavan on Saturday March 2nd peacefully in the exceptional care of all the staff in Medical South, Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his wife Anne, parents Michael and Mary, his sister Margaret and brother Bernard (in infancy).

Michael will be sadly missed and remembered by his daughters Martina (Shay), Aisling (Michael), Pauline (Gary) and Yvonne, his adored grandchildren Sophie, Jamie, Cian, Danny, Katie, Tara, Anna and Darren, his dear brother and sisters, Thomas, May (Francie Joe), Bridgie (Sean) and Josephine, his sisters in law Bernie (Francie) and Bernie, his nieces, nephews and many friends.

Michael will repose at his daughter Martina and son in law Shay's home at Derrinvoney, Corry, Drumkeerin, Co. Leitrim N41 CX63 on Monday from 4-8pm.

House private at all other times please.

Funeral mass on Tuesday in St. Colmcille's Church, Newbridge, Dowra on Tuesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Newbridge Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Medical South, Sligo University Hospital.

Derrywinny, Farnham, Cavan, H12 NY20

Jerry Clail, Derrywinny, Farnham, Cavan, H12 NY20, Saturday March 2nd 2024, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his loving wife Jenny and sons Martin and Sean.

Beloved husband and best friend of the late Jenny, and devoted father of Anthony (Heather) and Ann (Christopher). Jerry will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by his family, his adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, all his relatives and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12 C821), on Monday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his home in Derrywinny on Tuesday morning to St. Patrick's Church, Drumcor, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery.

Aidan Dinkin

Coneyburrow, St. Brigid's Road, Edenderry, Offaly / Glaslough, Monaghan

Late of Glaslough, Co. Monaghan.

Aidan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of Oghill Nursing Home Monasterevin. Predeceased by his son Conor. He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family: wife Lillian, children Madeline, Eileen, Bernadette, Ann and Aidan, sons-in-law Seamus and John, his ten grandchildren and their partners, his 4 great granddaughters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry this Sunday from 4pm to 6pm with Rosary at 6pm. Aidan's Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 1pm in St. Mary's Church, Edenderry followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. You can also take part in Aidan's Funeral Mass via the webstream link below.

The death has occurred of PJ Morgan,125 Mullaghmatt, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, Saturday 2nd March 2024, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital in the arms of his loving daughter Tanya. PJ is predeceased by his mother Winifred and his father Pat.

Cherished and much loved father of Tanya and Wayne (Pangko). PJ will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter, son and their mother Chris, grandchildren Rígan, Tiernach, Alexandra and Tristan, brother John (Anna), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many loving nieces and nephews, extended family, and by all who knew and loved PJ.

PJ will repose at the Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, (H18C962) on Sunday (3rd) and Monday (4th) from 4pm to 8pm, with removal from Martin's family room on Tuesday morning at 10:15am to the St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Latlurcan Cemetery, Monaghan.
