It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Sean Donohoe

Drumhilla, Poles, Cavan

Sean Donohoe, Drumhilla, Poles, Co Cavan (Ex Eircom). Saturday March 9th, suddenly at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Mairead (nee Carroll), and infant son Noel. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken children Ailish (Ollie), Joanne (Joey), John (Tina), Marguerite (Martin), Patrick (Grace) and Michelle (Brent). Remembered with love by his 14 adoring grandchildren, sisters Patricia and Freda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral arrangements for Sean will be posted over the coming days as they become available.

Brian Wynne

Slievebricken, Ballyconnell, Cavan, H14 HF72

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Wynne, Slievebricken, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan on March 10th, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, following an illness borne with strength and dignity. Forever missed by his beloved wife Ann, sons Damian and Brendan (Magda), daughters Fiona (Colin), Claire (Eoghan) and Brona (Niall), his cherished grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May he rest in peace

Reposing at his home (H14 HF72) Monday, March 11th, from 6 - 9pm. A shuttle bus will be provided for this time from Our Lady of Lourdes Church carpark (H14 HN52). House private all other times please.

Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell, Tuesday, March 12th, at 11.30am, with burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

23 Cappog, Ballinode, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Kathleen Mc Carra (née Mc Carron) 23 Cappog, Ballinode, Co Monaghan, Sunday 10th March Predeceased by her parents Thomas & Mary Ann, her granddaughter Ellie, her beloved Oliver and her dear sister Rosie,

Kathleen will be sorely missed and remembered with love by her son Kieran (Bernardine), daughter Lynda, granddaughters Lana & Kate, brothers Pat (Ann), Gerard (Jackie), her sister Anna (Pat), brother in law Joe, nieces, nephews, her extended family, neighbours, and all her friends who knew and loved her.
