Support by Soft Launch, featuring ex-Strypes guitarist Josh McClorey.

One of “the most critically lauded Irish acts of their generation”, the enigmatic and ethereal alt-pop quartet Soda Blonde, will headline Cavan Arts Festival later this year.

In support will be rising stars Soft Launch, featuring ex-Strypes guitarist Josh McClorey, who launched their debut single 'Cartwheels' on Tuesday, April 2.

The double-header will take place at Cavan Town's Townhall Arts Centre Cavan on Saturday, May 18, and tickets are on sale now from www.townhallartscentre.com or from the theatre box office in person or by phone on 049 4380494, Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.

Soda Blonde have been marked out as one of Ireland's finest following the release of their debut album 'Small Talk' and critically acclaimed 'Dream Big' (2023).

Soft Launch, a collection of talented multi-instrumentalists, meanwhile cut their teeth as a band supporting big hitters such as CMAT and Kodaline’s Mark Prendergast.
