Ardamagh, Ballyhaise, Cavan / Redhills, Cavan

Margaret (Maddie) Dowd, née Flood, Sunday, 7th April, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Paul, loving mother of Kathleen, Seamus, Margaret, Paul, Mary, Bernadette, Rose, Paddy, Oliver, Helena and Susan, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sister Marie Brennan, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home in Ardamagh, tomorrow, Monday, from 4.00pm until 8.00pm for family, neighbours and close friends and at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Tuesday from 4.00pm until 8.00pm. Removal on Wednesday to St Brigid's Church, Killoughter, Redhills to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Interment afterwards in Cullies Cemetery.

Relaghbeg, Bailieborough, Cavan / Moynalty, Meath

Mary Neacy (formerly McConnell), Relaghbeg and Drumbannon, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 7th April 2024 peacefully in Green Park Nursing Home, Armagh. Predeceased by her son Pete and daughter Ann, her partner Gabriel, brother James and sister Nita.

Sadly missed by Peter McConnell and her family Pat, Johnny, Maura, Eddie and James, brother Eddie (UK), daughters-in-law Helen, Jacqueline, Sharon and Camilla, sons-in-law Raul and Stephen, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Monday 8th April from 5pm - 8pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning 9th April at 10:40am to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock.
