The death has occurred of Joan Corr (née Baldwin), Dromiskin, Co. Louth and formerly of Bridge Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully, Monday, 8th April 2024. Predeceased by her parents Teddy and Molly Baldwin, her sister Frances and brother Tom. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband John, sister Mary, brothers John and Patrick, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 C653 on Thursday afternoon from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday afternoon to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Tereasa Murnaghan (née Mooney). Hillcrest, Mullinary, Carrickmacross. 8th April 2024. In her 96th year. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, in the wonderful care of the staff of 'Broomfield House', Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross.

Predeceased by her husband Owen, her daughter Geraldine (McAllister), her son-in-law Eamon, her parents Mick & Mary, her brothers & sisters, nephews & nieces.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Brian & Des, her daughters-in-law Colette & Maria, her much-loved grandchildren; Robert, Andrew, Keith, Mareasa, Stephen, Ashling, Amy, Úna & Órla and her fifteen great-grandchildren, her nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Tereasa will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Wednesday & Thursday, 10th & 11th April, from 4pm until 7:30pm.

Tereasa's funeral cortège will leave her home, Hillcrest, Mullinary, on Friday, 12th April, proceeding on foot via the Bridewell & Main Street, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Geoffrey Parker

The death has of occurred of Geoffrey Parker, Brookvale, Corrybrannan, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, Monday, April 8th, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Bobby and Dot. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, brothers Leslie (Jan) London and Denis (Liz) Ballybay, his cherished nephews Robert, Richard (Fiona), Colin and Kris, adored grandnieces and nephew Verity, Molly and James, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Removal from Ward's Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon at 1.45pm, proceeding on foot, to arrive at Second Ballybay Presbyterian Church for funeral service at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
