Calling all carers for the Celt awards!
Awards, in partnership with Mannok, take place at the Cavan Crystal Hotel, Thursday, May 23.
Nominations are open for The Anglo-Celt’s new Community and Sports Awards, with special focus on recognise volunteers and achievers across a range of categories including carers who go above and beyond for those most in need.
The deadline for submissions is midnight, Sunday, May 5.
The awards themselves are an afternoon event, to be held in the Cavan Crystal Hotel, on Thursday, May 23.
Already hundreds of people have entered their choice for nomination, and inspirational story that merits recognition.
The Anglo-Celt Sports Awards ran very successfully for a number of years before the pandemic put a halt to it. Due to restrictions, the awards didn’t go ahead in 2020 and 2021, and were shelved in the last two years as we sought to bring them back, bigger and better than ever.
In partnership with Mannok we are looking to recognise volunteers and achievers from across Cavan. You, our readers, are invited to have your say, to get in touch with us to share your nominations and your inspirational stories. It may be a family member, a clubmate, a neighbour or just someone you feel has gone above and beyond that deserves to be acknowledged.
