(née McCabe)

Druminda, Cappawhite, Tipperary / Kilmacud, Dublin / Virginia, Cavan

Mary Rose Carr (nee McCabe) (Kilnamanagh, Dublin 24 and late of The Bronx, New York; Virginia, Co. Cavan; Kilmacud Road Upper, Co. Dublin, Druminda and Kilbeg, Cappawhite, Co. Tipperary) April 21st 2024, in her 103rd year, peacefully at the residence of her daughter Marie Ellis, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Tommy, her only sister Peggy Quinlan and her husband Reggie and her son-in-law Tony Ralph.

Much loved and sadly missed by her loving daughters Marie and Sheelagh, son Maurice, Marie’s partner Padraig, daughter-in-law Mary, her adored grandchildren Sinead and her partner Mick, Daniel and wife Toni, Peter and wife Niamh, Luke, Matthew, Roisin and partner Kevin, Sean, Sonya, Caroline, Tom, Sarah and Jim, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her daughter’s residence Sheelagh Ralph, Druminda, Cappawhite, Co. Tipperary (E34 EY26) on Wednesday 24th April from 5 pm. Funeral will arrive in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cappawhite, Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am followed by burial in Cappawhite cemetery. House private on morning of removal.

Donal Crowe

Drung, Cavan

Donal Crowe, Drumhilla, Drung, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Moynehall, Cavan, aged 81 years, born on 17th April 1943 and died 23rd April 2024, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, and in the care of staff at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his infant son Peter, his brothers John and Chris, sisters Helen and Angela.

Will forever be missed by his wife Olivia and his devoted children, Leona, Donal (Colette), Finbarr (Mandy), Gregory (Karen), Mandy (Martin), Ronan (Sam), Georgina (Mark), Valerie (Gary), Pamela (Paddy), Clare (Rob), and Lorcan. Will be sadly missed as a loving Pappy to his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Oliver, Declan, Brendan, George, Tom and Barney, his sisters Kathleen and Teresa, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence this Wednesday from 2pm to 9pm concluding with prayers. Funeral cortège to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drung, for requiem Mass at 12 noon on Thursday, which can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/Drung, with burial immediately afterwards in Drung Cemetery.

Peacefully at Esker Lodge Nursing Home

Predeceased by her husband Laurence, son Gerard and granddaughter Kaitlin. Deeply regretted by her sister Rose Gormley. Daughter Kathy. Grandchildren Aaron, Brandon, Tadhg and Alida. Son in-law Brendan.

Reposing at Deery's Funeral Home, Carrickmacross on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in St Patrick's Church, Shercock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Drumgoole, Silverstream, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Mary Fowler (nee Simpson), Drumgoole, Silverstream, Co. Monaghan. Tuesday, 23rd April, peacefully at Drumbear Nursing Home.

Pre-deceased by her husband William Fowler, sisters Annie, Eileen, brothers William, Thomas,Pat,John, nieces Una and Teresa. Mary will be sadly missed by her nieces Anna, Christine and extended family and friends.

Mary’s remains will repose at McMahon’s Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Wednesday from 4pm - 9pm. Funeral mass on Thursday morning at 11am at St Patrick’s Church, Tyholland, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
