Pat Clarke

Pat Clarke, known as (P.G/PJ/JR) died suddenly at his home in Greaghnafarna on Saturday 27th April.

He was the best friend and love of his wife Sarah's life. He was loved and adored by his children Morgane, Rachel, Seán and Rory and his granddaughter Mollie. Pat will be more than sorely missed by them and their partners Paddy, Carl and Niamh. Deeply mourned by his sister Mary, his brothers-in-law John-Edward and Nick and his nieces Estelle, Miriam and Olivia. Fondly remembered by his wide circle of friends.

Sean McElgunn, 361 Lattone Road, Belcoo, Co. Fermanagh and formerly Belturbet and Carrickfern, Cavan, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at South West Acute Hospital Enniskillen, 28th April 2024 in his ninety fourth year.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family wife Lori, children Sarah, Sean, Elizabeth, Damian and Alyssa, stepsons Patrick and Billy, grandchildren, brother Liam, sisters Bridie, Eileen and Rosaleen, sons-in-law Frank and Richard, daughters-in-law Stacey, Danielle and Angel, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Sean will be reposing at his residence this Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm and on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning from his residence of at 11am to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet for 12 noon Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Drumalee Cemetery.

Eamon O'Reilly

Annaherin, Shercock, Cavan

Eamon O'Reilly, Rockview, Annaherin, Shercock, Co Cavan died on the 28th April 2024 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Alice and Hugh and his infant brothers.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, brother Hugo, sisters Betty and Annie, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Wednesday 1st May from 5pm - 7pm. Removal on Thursday 2nd May for Funeral Mass at 11am in St. Anne's Church, Killann with burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Shercock.

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Following a short illness bravely fought. Predeceased by her parents Mary Kate and John, her sisters Shiela and Kay. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Sean, daughter,Georgina, sons Michael John, Terence and Patrick. Her adored grandchildren James, Grace Luke, Eloise,Hugo and Hanna, son in-law John, daughters in-law Ania and Margaret. Sisters Maura,Mena and Patricia, brother Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Fiona Courtney. Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross. 28th April 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family and friends, in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Predeceased by her father, Jimmy.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her son Cian and her daughter Erin, her mother Margaret, her brothers & sisters, her brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, her extended family, the children's father Paul and a wide circle of friends.

Fiona will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Monday, 29th April, from 4pm until 8pm.

Fiona's funeral cortège will leave the funeral home, on Tuesday, 30th April, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Margaret McCabe née West, 5 O'Duffy Terrace, Ballybay, Co Monaghan passed away peacefully on the 27th April 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Eugene, son Michael and grandson Tiernan.

Sadly missed by her family Fintan, Gabriella, Sheila (Paddy), Sean (Anita), Bríd (Ciaran), Dessie (Ann-Marie), Colette and Paul (Sandra), sister Sheila, brothers John and Dessie, grandchildren Ryan, Seanie, Laura, Leah, Daniel, Matthew, Allie, Aaron, Hannah, Ronan, Megan and Noah, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her residence today Sunday from 5pm-8pm and again on Monday 29th April from 2pm-8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10:30am to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Ballybay for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. The funeral mass can be viewed live at St. Patrick's Church, Ballybay Webcam. Funeral afterwards to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
