John Joe Maguire

Killygrogan, New Inn, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

John Joe passed away peacefully at Virginia Health Care Center in loving care of his sister and nursing staff. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Bridie Barry Cavan, cousins, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace

Reposing at Cavan General Hospital on Thursday evening, 9th, from 5pm until 6.15 pm followed by removal to St Dympna's Church, Upper Lavey arriving at 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11.00am with burial in adjoining cemetery.

John Mc Cormack

Cormore, Gowna, Cavan / Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred peacefully of John Mc Cormack, Cormore, Gowna, Co. Cavan, at Virginia Health Centre, in the loving care of the nursing staff.

Deeply regretted by his loving sister Nancy (U.S.), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Matthews' Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58), with removal on Sunday morning arriving to the Church of The Holy Family, Gowna, for 11am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

James McKinlay

Drumgoohy, Killeshandra, Cavan

James McKinlay, Drumgoohy, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan. Wednesday 8th May, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. James is pre-deceased by his wife Kathleen, brother John and his parents. Sadly, missed and remembered with love by his daughter Katrina, grandson Jamie and granddaughter Kiera, sister-in-law, relatives, and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan H12RF78 on Friday evening 10th May from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Service on Saturday at 1.00pm in Lakeland’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Cavan, followed by cremation. If you wish to offer your condolence, you may leave a message on the link below.

Elizabeth (Dolly) Hegan

(née Evans)

Tattybrack, Lisnalong, Monaghan, H18 Y205

Peacefully on Wednesday, 8th May 2024, at home surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Tom and son in infancy.

Dolly will be dearly missed by her children Ann (David Mackarel), Robert, Kenneth (Pauline), Florence, Lorraine (John Malone), Deirdre, Lynette (Roy Mackarel), Joann (Owen Finnegan), David and Stephanie. Also her treasured 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, her sisters Hilda and Annie, brothers Eric, Robert, Fred and Leslie, sisters-in-law Margaret, Muriel and Martha, nieces, nephews, the entire family circle, neighbours and friends.

Resting at her home. Callers welcome on Wednesday and Thursday, from 2pm until 9pm. Funeral service on Friday, 10th May, in Cootehill Presbyterian Church, Eircode H16 V215, at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Family flowers only. House strictly private to immediate family only on Friday please.
