Paddy Smyth

Main Street, Mullagh, Cavan

The death has occurred of Paddy Smyth (Shop)

Main Street, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Lisdaran Unit for the Elderly Cavan, 25th May 2024.

Paddy was predeceased by his parents Mark and Annie, brother P.J., sister-in-law Colleen and nephew Brendan.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his brother Frank, sisters Marion (Martin), Joan (Séan), nieces, nephews, cousins, loyal customers and many friends.

Reposing at Joan and Séan's house, Cloughergoole A82Y265, on Monday 27th May from 4-8pm.

Removal from Paddy's residence, Main Street at 10.30am on Tuesday 28th for Funeral Mass in St. Killian's Church at 11am followed by burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Paddy's family would like to thank sincerely Virginia Primary Care, Cavan General Hospital and Lisdaran for the care they gave Paddy during his illness and his final resting days.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Browne, Arva, Co. Cavan and late of Barley Hill, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully 25th May 2024 at the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Annie Browne, his brothers Edward (Ned) and John (Johnny), and his sisters Annie, Bridey, and Philomena, as well as his nephew Terry Burns.

Pat will be remembered lovingly by his sister Kathleen (Katie) Wickham, brothers-in-law Ted Coughlan and Richard Wickham and all his nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Angela Hume (Nee Greene)

Cavan Town, formerly Clonbullogue Co. Offaly and originally Ennistymon Co. Clare

Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Castlemanor Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Lauri, Angela will be dearly remembered and sadly missed by her devoted daughters Carmel and Dara, their husbands John Boyle and Brendan Allard, her much-loved grandson Cian, her granddaughter in-law Megan and her great grand daughter Ember together with her brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, today, Saturday from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Sunday, in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Clonbullogue, Co Offaly, at 1.30pm. Interment afterwards in Cloncrane Cemetery.

Kevin passed away peacefully on the 23rd of May surrounded by his loving family and nursing staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Peter & Eileen and sisters Maeve & Orla. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters, Deirdre, Dermot, Nuala, Morna, Paddy, Emer, Fergus and Gráinne, extended family, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his brother Thomas and his sister Betty.

Removal leaving his home on Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm to arrive at Cootehill Presbyterian Church for 3 o’clock funeral service, followed by Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Friday May 24th, in the wonderful care of her family and the staff in College View Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Bernard, daughter Evelyn, brothers Paddy and John, and her sister Maura. Beloved mother of Maureen Cosgrove (Butlersbridge), Patricia Moore and Carmel Brady (Ballyhaise) and Anna Gunne (Milltown). Sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons in law, her adored 11 grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Sunday from 5pm until 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass Monday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ballyhaise. Interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Castletara.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Annie and much loved dad of Eugene and Seán. Predeceased by his sister Peggy. Sadly missed by his sons, daughters-in-law Marion and Mary, grandchildren Graham, Niamh, Donal and Philip, great-granddaughters Devlyn, Daisy and Isobel, great-grandson Cal Bono, relatives and friends.

Who passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in Spain on Sunday 12th May 2024.

Brendan beloved husband and best friend of Una,

Predeceased by his parents Dermot and Ann, and his father in-law Jim Coburn.

The death has occurred of Thomas McGahon (Tommy/Tom) Lacklum, Inniskeen Thursday 23rd of May at home peacefully.

Tom dear son of the late Denis and Teresa, predeceased by his sister Mary.

Sadly missed and rembered with love by his Partner Ann O’Reilly, sisters Eileen (O’Hagan), Margaret (McGee), Olive (O’Callaghan), Kathleen (McCabe), Ann (Mulvey), brothers Peter and John, brothers in law, sisters in law, the O’Reilly family, Bailieborough, nieces, nephews and large circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Tom will repose at his residence tomorrow Saturday 25th of May from 2pm until 9pm and again Sunday 26th from 2pm until 9pm Removal Monday 27th to The Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, arriving for 11am Funeral Mass, Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Inniskeen.
